@@ingamelevi1929 Chester Bennington was the lead singer of Linkin Park. He passed away in July of 2017. I named my cat after him.

I know it’s cheesy but as a teenager Linkin Park pulled me through the darkest days... all these years later when Chester passed, it took me right back to those teenage years. Like he was my hope, he pulled me through those dark days and now he’s gone i kinda felt abandoned. Thanks for this cover ❤️

That's a beautiful rendition of the chorus, as a LP fan for more than 15 I approve this as a beautiful and awesome one
This song will always have a special place for me, being one of my favorite songs of one of my favorite bands and sung by a very missed soul, and also being the first song we really played with my first (and only until now) band started in engineering school! It was probably the song listeners liked the most live, yet very simple to play and at the same time a huge honor to play LP in front of people... Now that Chester is gone each time I hear this one more than any of LP, I feel a very deep sadness mixed with a form of pride :)

Losing a parent is one of the hardest things a person can go through, I hope you hang in there. Speaking from experience, it doesn't really get easier, but you'll always have your memories and your father would want you to be happy and to live a good life. I wish you luck, my friend.
You are living right now... no need to prove somebody, that you can do it. Instead... find people, who understand your ways, who not approve all of your ways blindly, but accept, how you are now.
Your father wasn't able to see you and I know how this sucks. After all parents hold a lot of emotional power overtheir children. But a part of beoming an adult is to chose the right people to wmotionally bond with. People who can see you and love you.
Even though I didnt found that kind of love, I know that it is possible, bc this is, what I can give to somebody else. And I am not special... so somebody else can give this to me.

Beautiful. I grew up with Linkin Park in High school, they spoke to a lot of what we were all feeling during those times in the 90's. This is such an amazing and beautiful rendition. I would hate to call this a cover but rather a heartfelt rendition of the song.
