@@DaPredz being a bit older I still don’t trust v motors….I fell for the evo Harley supposedly built like a tank …it,lasted a couple/ few years with me riding it and having at least a repair a year usually more …..I understand it’s miles apart from todays v motor sport bikes , but I’ll never afford a new one so when it has 30,000miles (when I can afford it lol) will there still be life in it like my 09 fz1 ? And maybe it’s because I am older but idk if I need anymore speed than my in-line 4 gives me …can break the highway speed limit in any gear and top 100 from 2nd to 3rd (not even redlining it)and hit 150 from 65 in seconds ….lol that lil test actually gave me a small scare when I looked at speedo and didn’t expect it
@@DaPredz @josephshim4664 Zx10r is already a legendary bike but it already reached its limits as to what the current wsbk rules applied... The rules of limiting RPM ranges close to base bike rev range killed the chance of the Zx10r and even the R1 to match the Panigale and CBRRR on the straights and corner exits...
its either they make their current production engine rev at 15k rpm on stock, have a bigger valves and reworked heads OR make a whole new engine that revs higher, with bigger bore size and everything to overcome the rules itself...
@@juliuscarlopoblete2092 the zx10rr does rev to 15k if im not mistaken.
@@DaPredz the 2014-2016 Zx10rr KRT race bikes revs over 15k rpm with over 240wHP and utilizing twin throttle valves according to MCN when neevesy tested their race bike before..
The current Zx10rr KRT race bike are limited to 14k rpm and with only single throttle body per cylinder... the current power figures is around 218-225wHP
Stock production bikes revs to 13k rpm
