It doesn't. Simply put, you need to rng SR no matter what, except stage 7 raids. But if you bothered leveling an R before upgrading, you save about 33% mats. SR is very demanding. SR at lvl 10 can turn to SSR but only on fixed Nikke.
When you swap an item to higher rarity one, the experience carries over. R needs 1000 exp per level, so at level 15 you have 15k experience. SR takes 3k experience per level, so swapping your level 15 R collectible into SR starts you out at 15k / 3k = level 5.
Outside the 4 Nikkes with special treasures, who you give SR dolls first? With the selector this could be an interesting question. I don't have Red Hood, so I'm thinking about getting my Scarlet:BS one.
Just look at what it gives. SBS has low charge dmg, so a boost in it is huge. Then, someone like Snow White is a monster. Because that buffs her burst. Then I would do that to pvp units but that's just me. Most LOVE pvp...
I'm not sure. Is the stat boost from collectible considered exactly like equipment stats? Any difference? So the stat boost is taken into account when the skill says something like "X% of final attack" or "final hp"?
Campaign difficulty was my only major complaint with Nikke. Some of the resources were a bit unnecessarily tricky. Then they come out with this. Unnecessarily complex. Sure its simple in practice, but they never needed to make it this strange.
I think the exp will turn into the limiting factor. 2 days of a single solo raid and im already sat looking at a pile of non upgraded dolls and zero resources to level them.
Shit, I didn't even consider how Laplace's phase 3 would affect her burst. That kinda makes her phase 3 mandatory imo. Exia's probably fine at phase 2, though, considering the only reload speed buff she'd get would be from Privaty on the Zeus team. Still, though, is her own personal damage buff that overlooked or am I missing something?
The price is too much. You may hurt on some dmg but it's actually not that big compared to cost. Having Frima and Disel treasure would be faster than Phase 3 Laplace... and look at what they do. It's a 120% dmg upgrade on Laplace vs phase 3. Remember Laplace burst is both pierce and true dmg. So Frima and Disel buffs Laplace as well.
Fusing R does not guaranted getting SR. unless you have big luck go for it. Putting R on meta or your favorite nikke first. Then fusing any extra R and hope getting SR. Exp R will carry over to SR.

The aesthetic of the treasure systems cute but I don't like the in-game complications. If it was from day one then I wouldn't complain. I don't like new mechanics for a game that's been out for over a year

i put a SR on my scarlet bs and phase 15'd it. now she carries me in arena and bosses. Highly recommend.

I think it was 120 Laplace mats, or 40 DAYS to phase 3. That's where I'm coming from. Vs a good week for 3 Nikke.

how do you convert? i now have +15 S. i though it will only be swapped out if you have SR
When you have the SR you can swap it with the R and it will start at +5 (if your R is at 15)
