I have given up playing the machines at South Point. Love the hotel, pool and buffet but the last 4 times I have had the EXACT same experience that you had. I don't gamble there anymore. Stay there, eat there, use the pool and weight room but go elsewhere to gamble.

But I Did See A Lady Receive A 9k Jackpot, I Don't Know Much She Was Betting Or How Much Did She Put The Machine, I Just Ask The Person Next To Me Who Was Also Watching Her Getting The Money, But Maybe She Pick The Right The Machine..🤷♂️ So The Following Week I Went & Tried,Nothing😬!! It Suck Up My $100 Bank Roll In No Time, I Was Betting A $4.80 Spin But I Think Max Bet Is $8.00 Or $9.00 A Spin & It Was Only A 1 Cent Denom Machine Too..

I play there twice a month, and this past year I'm getting less than 80% payback (yes, I do track my cumulative payback at every casino I visit -- I'm probably the only slot player who does this). I've never gotten that low a payback at any other casino where I play frequently. I'm giving up on South Point even though I like their buffet. I'll probably do most of my gambling at the Wynn from now on, where I have much better luck.

Me Too. I've been there about 10 times for 3-4 day stays and don't recall hearing them paging people. Strange.
South Point has never been real lucky for me but my late in laws did well there. Fun place though with all the things to do there
