That's really cool, do you often get to see Aurora Australis from Dunedin? I'm asking because I know the sun's activity is reaching it's peak activity next year, so we will be seeing more and more of these events over the next year or so.
Hi. Like the northern hemisphere, we regularly get auroral activity down here. Most weeks I get shots of the aurora australis. The current activity is more notable due to its strength, as we move to solar maximum next year.

These was a massive solar flare yesterday. We had aurora borealis in England, Germany, Switzerland...
