- You want to see this! Of course you are going to make more money selling them on ebay, but if you have some that are completely trashed, here is what you will find in them. Gold, Silver, iron, wire, mid grade board, and indium? Check out this really quick scrap! Don't believe the price I am getting on ebay? Check out Maineauctioneer
I am happy to see you on your feet again!
Good to see you are back moose.
My wife's been ill so not do be any scrapping for months.
Got a shed full of stuff to dismantle lol.
Nice haul Moose. Ease yourself in gently and don't do too much. It's great to see you back to doing what you obviously enjoy. Keep it up.
Poo
poosmate Thanks poo! I am trying to ease back in... but have almost 3 full months of bills to catch up on. Should be good by the end of summer. Thanks!
Good luck with that. The very thought of falling behind with bills scares the bejesus out of me. I've spent some hours in the garden last few days trying to get some food growing just to save those few pennies but we have a saying over here "Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves". When you analyse that saying it is so true! If I bought a packet of crisps at 50p for say, 30 days of the month, that adds up to £15! £180 per year!! Of course I haven't given up crisps, I just buy a cheaper brand! lol
Happy and safe scrapping, hope you find a crock of gold.
Poo
poosmate LOL. Yeah, that used to be me with my morning coffee. I had to get it every morning at this one place at about $2.50 a day. I just decided to stop and make my own from home and save enough money to pay my monthly water bill. Just don't ask me to give up peanut butter.....
good job Moose. Welcome back

moose. i know this question has be asked. but it's outdated. have you found out anything on the LCD screens. i have a box of them and don't know what to do with them.
Please what to do with an old tv?
How did you get the gold and copper out
Welcome Back Moose
d scrapper Thanks! I am easing right back into it!
Moose when you mention that you sell bulk items on eBay (not the whole product - bits collected etc) do you sell from a set price knowing it's starting worth or do you let a bid begin from say 1 cent?
Great videos... Jason
Jason Gibson When its the first time I am selling an item I will sometimes sell it as an auction, but never for 1 cent. Usually, I research what the same item has sold for in the past 60 days and price it as a buy it now sale for just a little under the average to sell quickly.
Moose Scrapper Thanks Moose, great yo have you back
hey i have a old spin dial dont work thinking about taking it apart should i
Josh Sampson If it works you can make a load of money on them in ebay. I sold a rotary phone last fall for over $20!! that's WAY More than scrap value
Hey Moose, did you ever find any info on scrapping/selling lcd screens like that? A few month back i did some extensive research on indium and also germanium. Couldn't find too much info and couldn't find anywhere to sell too
zackcat276 Nothing yet. I am building up a large flat rate box of them and gonna try to sell them on ebay and see what happens.
Good luck! Let me know how you fair out. If I come across any info in the meantime ill be sure to pass it on.

MissionScrappr Will Once you get used to ebay you can make a lot more money with that than just scrapping. Best of luck to you!
why separate the gold pins?
Jay Stevens There are a lot of schools of thought on gold recovery. One of them, is to keep all like things separate so that when you go to process them there are no surprises. Some items are best processed with a reverse electroplate cell, others ap, some with AC ( a new method I just started reading about), some in aqua regia, etc etc. Point being that not all pins are made of the same materials and are more efficiently processed in different ways. Plus, it helps to get better outcomes data so that you will have a better idea of what to expect in the future, ie, 1 lb of ide pins typically equals 3 grams of gold.
thank you for the knowledge, you are a good man Charlie Brown.
why didn't you break apart the handset?
Jay Stevens My battery on the camera was running low, and though I am mobile now, stairs still kill my ankle. The hand set had a 3 ounce chunk of steel that looked like a wrench.
Get the Moose wife on! lol
Are you from Michigan, cause you look really familiar. Later moose

at first i am assuming that your wife hates that you collect. untill you came to her with gold and said "i made this" right?
RuneChaosMarine oddly enough, even when I showed her my first 2 ozT 22k+ ingot, she did not seem impressed in the least. She tolerates the scrapping because it helps pay bills because she can not work.
well. i apologize to bring it up.
RuneChaosMarine lol...no worries. The less she cares about it the better! That means there is more money for me to squirrel away!
сделай субтитры хоть на русском!.)))))
