I actually finished My Heart Is A Chainsaw today! You're right, SGJ really is a master. Also, congrats on the success of Cornfield. I'm sincerely very, very happy for you! I love this little community you've cultivated and I'm grateful to be a part of it.
Yay!! Halloween is my favorite holiday 🎃🔥 I usually dress up (thinking maybe Wednesday Addams this year), bake, play scary video games, and watch horror movies with friends 👻 I love these spooky houses! And great recommendations! I'm excited to start reading these~
This Halloween I expect I'll be self-isolating... but I WILL be wearing a costume, I WILL be eating candy, and I WILL be watching whatever Shudder has to offer me. I'll also have a haul of spooky books since I'm an October baby and my relatives all know to give me horror stories for my birthday (though if no one gifts me Clown in a Cornfield, I'll be sure to pick it up in paperback-- it was on my list before I discovered your channel here!)
Adam: “What are you doing this Halloween?” Me: “The same thing I do every Halloween, Adam: decorate my living room, eat lots of good food and watch horror movies ON MY OWN!” Halloween isn’t big here in Norway 😂 I am seriously excited about Cackle - I absolutely frickin’ loved The Return!
My only plan currently for getting in the Halloween mood is watching the new 4K Halloween 1-5 releases from Scream Factory! I'm most excited for Halloween III as it's my favorite of the bunch. No Meyers in that one, of course, but the atmosphere and story are both great.
Thank you so much, Alexandra! Very very appreciated. Sorry to ask, but if you had a second and could leave a quick amazon review/rating, it helps me out so much.
Great video! Thanks for the recommendations. For Halloween I'll be doing 31 Days of Horror, one movie per day, and making mini reviews of each one. I've done it for a few years now.
Watching a lot of Horror Movies and reading Your book Clown In A Cornfield I just got it today in the mail from Amazon . Can't wait for your sequel I really love this book so much .
This halloween I'll have some friends over for a movie night, may be The Exorcist or A Nightmare on Elm Street. Also I will display my Ghost vinyls, really cool spooky cover arts. On my TBR list for october I have Clown in a Cornfield, I don't usually read novels in english, but I have really liked your movie recs, so I ordered the hardcover.
Hey! “Clown in a cornfield” was super, I liked it enough that I’m gifting a copy to all of my friends and family this year for the holidays! I always give as gifts my favorite book of the year and I can’t wait to hear what they think! Definitely didn’t help with my clown phobia though…..,
I live in Savannah ga on the coast….. The neighborhood has a house decorating competition for Halloween and I have decorated my home super scary …. Halloween night will be doing trick-or-treating and then all the neighbors get together on the beach for a massive bonfire……I am reading a Halloween haunted house romance book this year to get in the mood……something different….The Haunting of Hillwood Farm….Kathryn Knight….I would recommend! ….love your channel
Not that easy to get the real Halloween feeling in Germany :-D There is no real trick or treating here and also not that much decoration seen as in the US. I always have some spooky lights on, Horror movies and pizza...and I try hard to get some Candy Corn imported this time :-)
I live in an apartment so there's not a ton I can do for decoration and kids don't come around here. I won't be doing much for halloween. Used to dress up a bit at work but that's not happening this year. I've been watching scary movies lately but I kinda always watch scary movies so I''m not sure if that counts. Specifically I've been making my way through the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. Next ups is The Dream Child which I have mixed feelings about. But if we never had Dream Child who's to say if we would ever have gotten New Nightmare or even Scream for that matter.
@@AdamCesare You know, maybe it's because I wasn't expecting it to be great but I kinda liked it. Just finished it a little while ago. It wasn't perfect but it had some really great kills, and it was doing interesting things with themes. And the special effects were kinda neat in a Beetlejuice kind of way.
I liked my heart is a chainsaw even better then the only good Indians, but as the same with Indians the ending of chainsaw was a let down I thought. 7/10
Adam, Clown in a Cornfield was fantastic! Can’t wait for your next book!

Very kind of you to say! And agree about MY HEART.
We always know where to come for excellent horror recs!

I’m getting a list of 31 horror movies I’ve yet to see. There are tons out there but not as many appeal to me anymore.
Since July, ive been watching horror movies.
What I’m doing for Halloween is one of my favorite reads for Halloween “Clown in a Cornfield”!
