WOW! Great Video. I hate cutting the appliques out when using my embroidery machine. I find it nerve wracking. I will be trying this new technique since I also have a cutting machine. I love the fact that you can iron your cut out applique onto your product so it doesn't move or end up with a bubble! Thank you for explaining how to do this so well and easily.
Love this idea! I’m going to have to learn my daughters circuit but like the idea of cleaner edges. Thank you. Always found your videos so helpful on my embroidery journey
Hi there! Thanks so much for this video!!! I signed up for an embroidery sew along at my LQS and the pattern creates 12 separate houses. The first house has 18 appliqué shapes and no SVG files; therefore, we'll have to do it the old fashioned way. I hate that way!!!. Now I can create SVG files and cut the fabric using my scan n cut. I'm so excited!!!
Hello there! I’m new to embroidery and appliqué, and I’m enjoying all of your videos! This hack is at the top of my list of things to try! Thanks so much for sharing!!
Seeing this makes me want to remake my vintage Wonder Woman costume. I didn't understand the appliques, but now I do. Even try to attempt Anna's pleated dress too.
This is so helpful I just started learning about embroidery and sewing. There isn’t a lot on appliqué and I noticed you can use the cricut! Thanks for this informative video on how.
This was the reason I got the cutting machine. It was maybe last year you opened my mind to this idea. Long before your fallout with cricut lol. Keep rocking Jen.
It’s not really about the machine, but whichever software program you’re using if it recognizes SVG files. Haven’t used the Brother or its software myself so I can’t confirm.
@@SewingReport thank you for your reply. All of the cutting machines are new to me, so I am not well informed on what is machine specific and what is generic.all of your videos are so helpful. Thank You again
Helpful!! I am just starting on the Brother Embroidery machine journey (bought my machine a week ago) and just downloaded embrillance software. I want to put a name on a bath towel as a graduation gift. What satin stitch fonts are your favorite for towels?

Thank you for sharing. This helped a lot! Can you do a tutorial with n how to make a 3D Embroidery design?
Thanks for a wonderful, helpful video. Does this also work with the brother cutting machine?

I typically do monogram initials on towels, check out my previous vids on embroidering bath towels to see the designs.
Is the size 1:1 with the circut and the brother pe? how do you ensure the design is the same size for both?
Can I use embrillance stitch artist level 1 for the appliqué design.
