why is my MC application status saying "Accepted" but my authority is not ACTIVE yet? my Insurance and BOC-3 are approved.
Fmcsa only requiring me 300k on insurance does it matter? I’m still going to have 1m and 100k on cargo I’m just wondering why they only requiring me 300k
That is not the correct website to check
It is if you're checking on the MC and insurance. There are two sites to check. The safer is only 1/2 of the puzzle. To accurate check on an MC you need to check both the L&I and the Safer.

My authority status says “authorized for property” instead of “active.” Can you please explain the difference between each operating status? Am I missing something?
That's just how the DOT record reads. Go to the Licensing and Insurance page...there it will see the active status.

What if you are running Local Intrastate? Will the insurance company be required to upload the BCS91? Or is that only if you have an MC number?
BMC-91 filing only applies if you have an MC. You will still need insurance. You may need a Form E for the state.
Hello, thanks for the great info. I am required to have 750,000 insurance. I am paying for 1,000,000 but on file it only says 750,000. Would that be a mistake from my insurance ?
You can ask your insurance company to file a BMC-91X for the $1MM.

@@markedrickdeshun9813 You'll need to contact your insurance agent and request they file the policy for $1MM with the FMCSA.
I asked my insurance and they said that the 750,000 that you see on the fmcsa is just saying the amount the fmcsa requires and it's saying you have the minimum requirement to be active but your insurance is 1 million on your information with them. Pretty much the fmcsa knows you have the required insurance.
I got my insurance on file boc 3 shows on file but my authority status says None and application pending says YES but I have submitted my insurance two days does that mean it’s gonna take a while for the authority status to go active?
Depends on when you applied. Allow 3 weeks from your application date for activation. If you're in that timeline you could be active in 4 biz days. So if we are only gonna do intrastate and dont have a mc number are we able to view the information still. For some reason when i put the usdot number it dont pull up or if i put the company name it dont pull up im not sure what i am doing wrong.

Common probably says ACTIVE. Contract carriers is an old term and not used anymore.

For amazon relay insurance requirements do you need a (Bmc-90x) form to be accepted?
You may need an MCS-90 but the FMCSA always requires a BMC-91 to be filed as well.

The BMC-91 is the official filing to fulfill the FMCSA requirement to activate an authority.

Sounds like you never activated the authority. Look under Authority History and see what it says. If it says Dismissed there will be a date. You can undismiss the authority if it's been less than a year. If the date reflects over a year you can reapply and keep the same numbers. This process is not done online but rather by paper copies sent to the FMCSA.
@@penniroyston2767 it is reinstated, I have put insurance on it but saw your video and I checknon mines following your instruction and notice a section that says "common" none.
@@bluexiong3492 You'll need to send the FMCSA an undismissal letter if you're under 1 year of being dismissed. Otherwise you will need to reapply with an OP-1.

16 day ago and I’m still looking for a good insurance ? My question is they say you got 21 days before they active when you do ur insurance right what happen if you don’t get the insurance yet is there a deadline? Or would you have to reapplication again after the 21 day past ?
You have 90 days to file the insurance and BOC-3, after you've completed the USDOT/MC application.

@@juniorflame4093 very welcome! Make sure it’s not marketing material first. You received your MC#, but make sure you complete all requirements documents and processes to fully activate your authority.
I’m in “Pending Status” for my HHG authority.
Your insurance company will need to file a BMC34 with the FMCSA to activate your authority.
I currently use progressive commercial and they just told me that they won’t report my HHG cargo insurance because they don’t know what I’m moving out of houses. I have just spoken with they FMCSA and they told me that I can switch my authority to general freight.

@@nathanielwilliams2473 interesting. You might try other avenues of insurance to file the BMC34. It’s been a requirement for at least 31 years that I’ve been in the biz.

What about the cargo? For the carrier? It is not on file...
Cargo insurance is only required for HHG carriers. You will still need it but no filing is required with the FMCSA for most types of operations.
I have HHG and the correct amount of insurance but I noticed today that my insurance company never reported the cargo coverage to the FMCSA
