It's just a way to remove the Carrier VMT Outdated notification on your account. I've had some carriers that needed this removed before a broker would work with them.
It’s helpful for me. I do have one question. What if you click on the pending application and it says no data available. Is that something I should be concerned about? I hope I’m not too late asking this question here. Thank you in advance.

Technically you have up to a year. Just watch for a dismisses status. That means extra paperwork will be required but won’t hinder the process.

Sometimes they take the systems down for maintenance.

No. You cannot file for a BOC until you get an MC number. Yes still file your biennial update every 2 years.

It applies to both. Even as a new carrier you should do an update.

It depends on your DOT #. The last digit = Month, the NEXT to last digit = Year (odd/even)

You can file the BOC at any time. Wait at least 2 weeks from when you applied to file your insurance.

If u crossing state lines u need ifta
you don’t need ifta if you’re doing non-cdl , if you’re driving with a cdl or driving over 26,001 you need those ifta stickers
