Today, I'm reviewing the All-New Wolverine Omnibus by Tom Taylor from Marvel Comics. Follow Laura Kinney aka X-23 aka the All-New Wolverine on her adventures with Gabby and Jonathan as they fight for the good of the Marvel Universe.
This was a spectacular run from Tom Taylor and an excellent exploration of character for the All-New Wolverine.

Tremendous Omni I was really surprised at how good this was. I knew very little myself but came out a huge fan of Laura Kinney.

Yeah I had read some early x-23 stuff and enjoyed it and the character but this took it to a whole new level.
This book sort of swept me off my feet and I could not put it down 😂

I love this series. I collected all of these floppy issues and have #1 as a CGG 9.8. People who never read this series always moan about it existing, but it is an excellent run. The only part I didn't like was the last arc, the Old Woman Laura arc.

Honestly I LOVED it. A very great and entertaining series throughout, loved the characters and tone and a fantastic handful of stories here.
The old woman Laura story did definitely stand out. I enjoyed it but it felt very different than the rest of the collection.

Honestly this was a wonderful surprise for me. I know Tom Taylor is beloved, reading this I get why. It was just fun, some great story arcs, and truly likable characters. I’m not sure if I’ve read an omnibus as fast as I read this one, just devoured this run!

@@TheComicBookReport yeah remember those right wing comic channels, I think they call them comic gate, just really hating this run, you know I really think those guys do not really love or understand comics in the first place jajajaja in general. It to my knowledge has not come out here but if I find it I'll get it, I sort of skipped out on marvel from 2015-2019, Hickman got me back on board and Donny cates

@@cavotiscomics3423 yeah I don’t know anything about that. But will say I personally enjoyed this quite a bit. Hopefully this volume gets released in your area. It was just a pure entertainment read for me :)
I’m sure there are better runs out there but wow just really fun characters, great tone throughout that balanced levity and tragedy, and an art style that I really enjoyed

That is the Old Man Logan FYI. He came into 616 for awhile and returned to his dimension later.

Do you know when he first came to 616?

@@TheComicBookReport It was after SECRET WARS 2015. The even brought over many characters into 616, like OLD MAN LOGAN, MILES MORALES, and the ULTIMATE UNIVERSE REED RICHARDS. I think it all starts with OLD MAN LOGAN #1. Another excellent read by the way.
