Be careful giving Iron Dome too much credit. Most of the engagements during Iran's attack outside of or just within Israeli airspace would have been done by air forces (US, UK, France, Jordan, Israel). Also, the Iranians didn't time their attack properly to have all 3 waves arrive simultaneously. Idk if that was a deliberate choice or just incompetence, but for this argument it doesn't really matter.
Iron dome is really effective, don't get me wrong, but a properly executed attack at scale could very well overwhelm it, especially if those allied air forces are more reluctant to help Israel out.
