He will calm down with food once he realises he will be fed regularly. His lack of stability is probably what caused you to be nipped. I have seen dogs who have lost their back paws get caps like the ones used on bottom of crutches, put over their legs to give them the ability to walk and run. It replaces their paws. Thank you for taking in this strong dog. They are very clever and loyal.😊❤

Our western countries are fast not financing animal welfare and many of those now living here come from countries tyat abandon and abuse animals. People are abandoning beautiful pedigreed animals and euthanizing even pedigreed puppies in the US. Many cities now have 1000s of dogs as strays in "progressive" cities especially in Texas. The diseased dogs we see abandoned in "other" countries is now becoming the same in the US. I worry about the Rescues and what will happen as our economy dissolves.
@josef1836 there is no comparison between the west and China or south east Asia, when it comes to animals welfare. We have much to improve, but China is hell on earth for animals.

This dog is so affectionate and wanting pets and cuddles, but is also fearful of being harmed apparently. Some dogs as you noted guard their food because they have not been given enough to eat. If she was trying to bite with the shirt, maybe she was wrapped up when her monster owner chopped off her legs. This dog has survived an atrocity and may always be traumatized even though she trusts you. She has Post Traumatic Disorder understandably. Look how cooperative she was with the tests? Thank you and the Lady for taking a risk to rescue this sad dog who has been so brutally harmed. God Bless!

Poor fur baby he was hurt by the owner. Cruelty like this he didn't deserve. Dogs are so loyal and filled with emotions. Surely are man's best friends. I will pray that this doesn't happen again. Watching the dog and his little black shoes, they look like she looks like a ballerina. She’s so cute. I love this dog. You know if I if there was a dog like that here I would adopt it. I’d at least try I mean here United States foster just take it home for a while so it doesn’t have to be in the wages at the animal services, I haven’t seen or heard of any dog out there that are special needs, but I would try. I don’t like try like wouldn’t wouldn’t keep it after a day or two of course I would I would keep it as long as I could and hopefully permanently.
