Yes and the reason is what you said bc you imagine a huge one grabbing it and they do I’ve caught a good amount of nice ones between the 5g-7 1/2 range. So I see you like Dobyns and they make amazing swimbait rods and one good all around one for you to start with would probably be the Dobyns Mike Bucca Bull shad Rod It’s 8’3”.
@@RABassin actually paid down the big baits the past 2 days and caught some on jigs zako trailer. Think I'm ready to throw bigs again after a lil boost of confidence 🤣🤣
The first pond you went to was a pay for swimming lake before it was sold to developers. In the lake was a diving platform that you swim out to. Hence the ladders that you noticed to climb out of the lane.
