Dereck, I saw John mayall blues Breakers in 1988, wonderful concert at musicians exchange in Florida, also the band War the same year, Unfortunately the place was torn down in 2000 Rip
Hey Dereck, Have a fewJOHN MAYALL LPS. Will most likely be listening to my favorite " BLUES FROM LAUREL CANYON" later on and revisit my youth at the same time when I first heard it. Take care Dereck
Hello D. caught ya early today! sweeeet👋🏻....ooo no wasn’t aware of John Mayall, I have a couple CDs that he is on RIP...🙏🏻✨I remember you speaking of Red.....I remember Mayall wrote a great back cover comment about the group The Flock.....cheers D👋🏻🎶🙏🏻✨☮️✊🏻
Hey Derek I gotta agree with you I don't understand why that gandalf album is so overrated personally I was disappointed with it there are other lesser known psych albums a whole lot better than this love your videos
I remembered buying a copy of It's a Beautiful Day's Choice Quality Stuff and was surprised to see Tom Fowler played on half the album.
I know you don't like request videos or list videos but damn, it would be great to see a Derecks top 10 or 20 psych albums!
I think the standard Fender guitar amp Blues Breaker model was named as a connection to John Mayall.
I like A Hard Road because Peter Green is on that album and his songs are great on there including “The Supernatural”.
Me too!! Hard Road! yes! Because of Peter Green 👏🏻🎶
Thanks for mentioning the Gandalf I was awaiting the reissue and it reminded me to check . Coming out July 26th a few days away.
Good to see you, Dereck. Thanks for the shoutout!
Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger was a pretty good album in my opinion
They seem to be on hiatus now, for a long time
Love your insight!!

I bought the Gandalf album because of Golden Earrings as I liked it in the 1947 film of the same name.
Rest in peace to blues legend,John Mayall. Ninety years old

Well, I need to look up John Mayall. I'm sure I've heard his music.
Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton is a great place to start
