I love the towel ideas. This would be great gifts for Christmas, birthdays, house warming. I love the wrist purse. That is great for shopping so you do not have to be concerned with pockets. And I love the pouch!!
I have to say, I've absolutely loved watching your videos. Even when I feel like I'm in a creative draught and struggling to find a reason to sew again (its winter, it happens). I still gain so much happiness watching your videos and gaining new ideas! UA-cam can be such an iffy place sometimes filled with who knows what or for what purpose, but to watch a neutral+cheery, informative video, with such a calming voice is really soothing for the cold winter nights. I appreciate the time you put into these videos and I'm sure others do too. Thank you for being you
@@ThoughtfulCreativity Yes, I agree, and second Valentina's comment. On a second note,,,lol, you are lucky that your toddler notices and tries to hide their mess, with their t-shirt or sock..🤣😂😅 My adult children pretend they saw nothing!! Hahaha.
Just wanted to jump in here really quick. I made one of the wrist pouches today... and it came out super! Love how quick it was to make. This works great for fat quarters that I really like at the fabric store. Thanks for sharing this great idea and pattern! ❤
I know you’d prefer your toddler to wipe up her spills with something other than her clothing but I think you’re already winning if she’s wiping up her messes at all!! 😂
So cute and simple. I've been wanting to make one of these for the longest but they all seemed so complicated to understand. Now I can try using your video. Thank you!
Wowwww i need to learn a bit of photography when advertise my products. But I wanna do it correctly. And make sure I'm doing it right. Your toddler is so funny wiping stuff with her T- shirt...!!
Yep :) she uses to do this thing where she would wipe spills with her t shirt and then run and change into a clean one! Laundry was piling up! But since I made these ones - she loves them :)
You can also use the wrist pouch idea and alter it to make a planner pouch to hold a few pencils! Some planner companies sell them and they are often pricey.
I watch a lot of sewing videos and yours are my absolute favourite ❤ One thing has always puzzled me though is why is everyone else's fabric so much nicer than mine 🤔😅
Very great ideas 💡.....you know I always enjoy your makes and shares...... I'm anxious to try the oval pouch....this would be my first time with this shape....thanks for sharing 😊
Hi. Always prewash cotton. The reason is that, it will be ugly, like cheap clothing, once your, client, friend , or relative needs to wash it. Too disappointing. I like to spray starch once dried, and then the fabric feels like you never washed it, but at least it won't shrink again.
Where do you get the towing? If you don’t have any old towels and how do you keep your needle from breaking if you do use old towels because it will be a thick patch.
I love your videos, you make drafting so easy, especially for me because of my ADHD........sewing patterns and some other UA-cam's are much more "technical" which goes over my head. Have a really cute top that has a double petal sleeve that does not connect under the armpit, can you do a video to show us how to draft petal sleeves?!
Definitely love the wrist pouch. I need an ankle one, a thigh one, and a over the elbow one. For the ankle one I’d add snaps at the middle of the elastic so could be easily removed.
It has been so long and I miss looking at your videos, I still belong to your channel as a member because I want to make some things with my students,. Do you have a quick and easy project that I can guide them to make and be excited about for teenagers?
Kisha, hellloooo :) glad to see you here! I did 3 recent videos in the "scrap buster series" that could be a great pick for you, this one is easy and your teen students may like this a lot - ua-cam.com/video/3RPJ6vFhEs8/v-deo.html
I love the wrist bag! I catch the bus a lot and leave my money either in a pocket of my shorts or small coin purse in my handbag. I usually have a very hard time finding it if it is in my large bag and I'm afraid it's going to fall out of the pocket. I love these little pouches but they don't seem to sell in stores. Thanks for posting this now I can make lots of them and in different designs! 🧵
You're videos are a delight to watch and get ideas!! thank you for sharing a stitch that would work in place of a serger since many of us are either new and unsure if we want to get a serger or can't afford to yet, it's much appreciated!
I have tried a 100 times to get a nice oval shape with he bias tape but it doesn't work. It just curls up. I cannot get it flat like how you do it when I tried overlapping. Nothing works. What else do you do to get yours such a flat finish???
Wow! I absolutely love the paper towel substitute. All your ideas just blow me away. I have so many pairs of pants with no pockets :( so the wrist pouch is definitely for me too. I love the oval pouch...great for keys, lipstick, tissue, id or small change. Awesome! Thank you so much!
Sew the edges on both pieces where you make the opening to turn inside out sewing the hem on each piece of fabric. You can then put your hand inside,.Then towelling side will be great when using the one side. You can still use the. 2 pieces so you have the option when wiping down.
Absolutely love your tutorials which have given me so much inspiration for creating crafts to sell. Just wondering where you purchase your card that you use for your hair bands. Kind Regards Jane ( South Wales UK)
I just found you buy seeing you on my Google home page. What a true blessing. You explain these projects so that even someone like me can understand them and can do each project. Thank you. I do have a question about project #3 on this video. Do you need to do anything to the ends of the elastics so they don’t fray? Thank you.
You can cover the ends of the fabric and elastic with zigzag stitches, bias binding, serging or just let it be. It's inside, therefore shouldn't be a problem. 😊 Best wishes.
I love the wrist purse! My sister goes to a senior workout at the gym and actually asked if I could make her something that she could carry a key and cash in. Yay! Thank you! Also, what width does the elastic have to be?
I have a question. I've been looking for a pattern for a bonnet with a long tail to cover the neck...do you have any ideas up your sleeve for that? I can not find a pattern. Look forward to hearing from you....thank you

Honestly, I'd use a potholder to make this pouch.
Amazing 😍👏
Easy indeed. Can other shapes work ?
Where do you get the cord from for the coasters ?
There is poundland, warehouse, b&q, here in Norfolk.
Can you use a thinner elastic or does it have to be that thickness?
Doesn't the hair elastics fray?
Love the wrist purse.
Used them for 3 months now for my toddler - and all good.

What about serging the towels on the right side so there is no need to turn the item?
Why do you need a paper towel replacement? Just use a dish cloth, rag, or kitchen towel.
I love the zippered pouch! Thanks for sharing such a great technique!
