2009 Mercedes E350 CGI high pressure fuel pump Y94 valve FIX!

This Y94 valve is the Quantity Control Valve, and regulates the amount of fuel that comes out of the high pressure pump, after a thorough investigation I noticed the ECU output to the vavle was 12V which suggested an open circuit in the solenoid, I managed to get my hand down where the pump is and pulled the pulg out and it was good had good continuity from ECU to the Y94 plug, so it wasn’t the wires, i tested the resistance of the solenoid and it showed open circuit or mega ohms, i then pressed on the plastic casing of the valve in certain ways and i could hear it clicking.. suggesting that its working,
I removed the pump and cut the plastic casing to find dry solder on one of the pins, i resolder it and built it up with melted plastic(from a glue gun) re sealing the terminals, put it back on the car and works a treat!
