Eris the Planet adding protein to your hair might help it transition back instead of cutting the damaged hairs off you could do that, i know cutting it is probably the best option but i just wanted to let you know, of course do your own personal research to see whats best for your hair though.
ik this is 2 years so so if you don’t do this anymore than sorry but for detangling i suggest using a paddle brush not denman it breaks your hair and leave in condish isnt a styler so you should like incooperate some styles like defining cream or sculpting gel

You should try looking into a protein treatment so it can help make your hair stronger and healthier. I recommend the Aztec Indian healing clay (it's like $7 but doesn't contain protein). After straightening your hair, the curl pattern weakens because you're literally running your curls through two hot metal plates so, a protein treatment would be beneficial for your hair. I use this every 2 weeks or so and it truly makes a difference in my hair. The Aztec Indian healing clay can also be put on your face as a bonus for detoxification for your skin! Hey sis, quick tip!! I used to style my hair exactly like this and just put product in my hands and distribute evenly, hair would still come out bomb but try sectioning *before* u apply the products!! Section, add product, denman brush, repeat. Promise it will change ur life!!

ugh i always delay washing my hair. its SUCH a process. its funny cuz i used to actually cowash daily. i shld go back to that. was so much easier to detangle and my hair was more moist/healthier.

Hey girl, if you apply the products in small sections that could also help retain moisture. Adds a little more product to your hair and it doesn’t get as diluted when you add water to your hair 🙂

I think you could define your hair much better, you just need a good product and separate the hair into smaller portions, if I can have your same hair texture as well. You can use the Ecostyler gel to define and cut those battered strands that you have in your hair

hey- did you actually cut your damage? if you didn't, do you have any tips on how to make it healthier? I currently have 65% damaged hair and my hair is growing too slow! I really don't wanna cut my hair- it had just started growing again last year and it's now collarbone length :/
