I hear ning Ning mess up all the time. The technique she uses to sing high notes is hard to do when doing choreography. Because she doesn't push very hard and her notes can be shaky at times or her vibrato will be off. If she's signing a ballad, her singing is substantially better. But in my opinion, seulgi, I would put above Ning Ning for now. She still has alot of room to grow as I don't think she's reached her full potential yet.

But to tell you why I see Ningning deserved higher spot bc in my opinion I'm so amazed that after witnessing majority of her videos that show her live singing skills, or her covering a song, she always sustained and support the notes throughout the whole, never go off key, and you don't hear her like she's shouting and eventually screeches your ear just to show off that she's doing high note. I don’t know anything about vocals in terms of ~technique~ but I appreciate your range of identifying lesser known talented idols. I loved seeing jungwoo of bvndit and swan of craxy being mentioned! In my unprofessional opinion I would consider some of the main vocal girls of purple kiss or yunjin of le sserafim but I love seeing the variety of these lesser known powerhouses

Guys these are vocalists who would kill even outside of the kpop industry. Their technical skill and power is really up there and does not need the over production in most kpop songs for them to actually sound good.
Being a good singer is not only about high notes. There’s air support, other effects you can do with your voice, stability, accuracy when hitting a note always… Mamamoo should be waaaaay higher than what you have them there.

@@mariahlol2488 I think you will even say lol at me if I say to you that I'm actually a huge fan of NMIXX more than Aespa, as a group I see nmixx more talented than aespa in overall category, but in individual view I still see Ning ning great vocal skills, I compared her with Haewon, because she was mentioned in this video and was in high rank that seemed overrated in my opinion, and I personally don't see her great potential yet, but I admit that she's a really good singer, she's great with harmonizing and had the deep and clear vocal tone which I admired.
But to tell you why I see Ningning deserved higher spot bc in my opinion I'm so amazed that after witnessing majority of her videos that show her live singing skills, or her covering a song, she always sustained and support the notes throughout the whole, never go off key, and you don't hear her like she's shouting and eventually screeches your ear just to show off that she's doing high note.
She don't have yet the singing high note power that attacks like Taeyeon, Ailee, Wendy and Solar, but she surely rocks ballad type of song, best in low register, and overall great singer. I believe in Ningning, she'll getting better and better throughout the upcoming years

I don’t know anything about vocals in terms of ~technique~ but I appreciate your range of identifying lesser known talented idols. I loved seeing jungwoo of bvndit and swan of craxy being mentioned! In my unprofessional opinion I would consider some of the main vocal girls of purple kiss or yunjin of le sserafim but I love seeing the variety of these lesser known powerhouses
