Ain't it too cool that there's a man like Les out there refusing to take things too seriously but taking a live performance VERY seriously? Saw them once: Lollapalooza 1993 & when they started this one, the whole pit went NUTS.
I remember first hearing this song on Tony hawks pro skater However, as an adult, I feel that this song has aged like fine wine This is a damn good song
Primus is the one of only(if not only) band that has better live performances than studio version ..i watched almost all primus concerts and will say...PRIMUS SUCKS!❤
Camera guys or the guys editing show know that THEY MUST HAVE LES ALWAYS ON FRAME!!! WTF! Why are you filming the guitar? You should film the guitar when it is soloing but the rest IS ON LES and it's MASSIVE BASS!
@@benp.320 jay lane was for a very short time the first drummer in primus. Then Tim started playing with them during that time they took off. Later Tim left and brian replaced him in like the 90s till they broke up in very early 2000s. Then Tim played a few shows with them in like 2004 i think? After that Jay joined again till like 2014 i think. And up until now its been Tim the entire time again. Les had Jay Lane in some of his own projects as a drummer aswell.
@@lucasrodrigues2663 You know what I meant. Les is Primus. He can change guitarists and drummers and nobody really cares. Primus without Les is just a couple of guys.
@@RobKMusic I'm not trying to create an argument, just healthy talk, but Les has said many times that he needed a textural player for his thoughts and it was fucking hard to find - than Ler popped up. He also has good talks about Jay. Herb WAS primus from Frizzle to Pork Soda. Than Brain showed Ler and Les a new way of thinking cause his drumming was no way what Primus was about, but worked to shift it to a more "funky" shit. I totally agree about Les being the core guy in the band but it isn't just about him at all.
@@lucasrodrigues2663 Respectfully, can you just re-read my initial comment that you replied to? My point is why am I looking at the guitarist for 80% of this video? Because camera men think the guitarist is always the star. In Primus that's about as far away as you can get.
That mix definitely understands Primus.
Whoever is behind the mix for the live sound for this show was fucking on point. I have not heard Primus sound that heavy in years. Wish I was there.
I see them every year in Minnesota and they sound this good everytime
@@tylersays- Hes talking about the recording
@@Irespecktyouall he said the live sound .. I was saying their live performances always sound this good..

03:48 LMAO Les lookin at this bass like its gonna take off... then it does.
That intro gives me chills
That breakdown is still so goddamn heavy.
2:13 GO!!!
Ler's guitar sounds fuckin awesome here. finally.
I got hit with a flaming lawn chair while moshing to this song at Ozzfest '97 Desert Sky.
Primus rocked the fuck out of Arizona at that show.
Awesomeness thank you I needed that! 30 years since I seen him and they're still rocking! Primus sucks!
My face lit up when i he started playing the intro riff
That bass is on point
Brcause Les is that basses master.
Otherfreakingworldly!

Play this in Congress non-stop until it knocks some sense in them
Need Tim back on drums
Jes playing the bass with a banana seen in his fiat. For the environment

Did he sneeze ?
😂😂😂😂
Seems possible!
And God blessed him again
@@jer8279 I'd say he's blessed enough as an artist already
DROVE SAGAHDAMFAST
A distortion pedal on a fretless bass? Like shit man
Mr Claypool is more of an artist than he is a bass player, and not to undermine his skill with a bass either
Not bad at all for this show. But nothing will beat the 94 Woodstock performance.
jurry wuz a rescur driver.
Kinda feel like this is exactly what would happen if there was a band and every instrument was played by a clone of Johnny greenwood
