People try to predict the economy not realizing it is central planned, not a capital market. Instead of having much cash sitting in the bank that could lose value to inflation, I've been pondering, should I invest in stocks or just buy gold to safeguard and grow my $350k reserve?

BTC can disregard techincals when in a bull, did that in 2020 when it crossed previous ATH... stayed there a few weeks and continued pumping like crazy to 60k. Also, there is one constant... when around 90 on monthly RSI, the end is near. And don't expect crazy price targets of 500k... expect around 100k at most and be happy if there's more after that. If you believe big boys and CEO's of big invesment firms saying targets like 1M this cycle.. you deserve to be their exit liquidity..It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3B'tc to a decent 21B'tc in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Francine Duguay, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Inflation comes with equivalent market chance if you are early informed and well-equipped. I've seen folks on verified posts that turned millionaires amid economic downtrend, and pull it off easily in a favorable economy, it all boils down to proper asset allocation.

Imagine a huge, bustling city where every building represents a different part of the market where adults buy and sell things like pieces of companies (called stocks) and loans (called bonds). Each part of the city has its own rules and ways of doing things.
In one part of the city, there's a big hill called the Yield Curve. The shape of this hill can affect everything in the city. If the hill gets too steep, it can make the buildings shake! This is because the hill affects how people decide to spend their money. If it's hard to climb the hill, people might not want to build more buildings or might have trouble keeping the ones they have nice and tidy.
There's also a big building called the Government Building, where they need to borrow lots of money to take care of the city. They do this by selling bonds. Bonds are like promises that the government gives to people, saying, "If you lend me money now, I'll pay you back later with a little extra." But if too many people worry about the government's ability to pay back, they might stop lending them money, and that could cause problems in the city.
Then there's something called the "blackout period." Imagine some buildings where people are not allowed to paint or fix them for a while. This is to make sure that the paint contest (which is like the company's report card day) is fair, and nobody is trying to make their building look better just before it's judged.
Lastly, think about a big, fun playground (the stock market) where everyone wants to play with the most popular toys (stocks like technology companies). Sometimes, if everyone rushes to one toy, it can leave the other parts of the playground lonely. This can make the playground a bit uneven, with some areas being too crowded and others too empty.
The adults in the city are always trying to make sure everything runs smoothly, but sometimes it gets a bit tricky, and they have to figure out new ways to keep the city happy and healthy. And just like in any good story, they sometimes need a bit of magic (new rules or help) to make sure everything ends well.

The cumulative inflation is insane, and prices are still going up!:food, dining out, electricity, gas, water, home comp prices, insurance, kids needs, tuition, services, on and on. It is all about collapsing the Chinese (and German?) economy. Both are export dependent, the US has been soaking up excess manufacturing for 50 years, and there is that Thucydides thing. Manipulating the price of oil destabilized the world, and especially our enemies, but it takes a recession/depression to seal the deal.
