@@이런-아 While her high notes may not be the best, they're all decent to say the least, and almost all the high notes are not the best quality and often strain because her vocals are underdeveloped and there's A LOT of potential for Chaeryeong to become a lead vocalist rather than staying as a sub vocalist. A reminder that Yeji is also an underdeveloped vocalist, but is STILL a Lead vocalist because she's clearly the 2nd best vocalist while Chaer is 3rd. There's a lot sources and proofs all over the internet that she is. It's not just because of her high notes!! Chaer is my bias, and I do have to say that it's not clear why the people in JYPE (or JYP himself) give her such high notes that she can't really support and it's been like this ever since Cheshire era while a main vocalist is there. @@이런-아 While her high notes may not be the best, they're all decent to say the least, and almost all the high notes are not the best quality and often strain because her vocals are underdeveloped and there's A LOT of potential for Chaeryeong to become a lead vocalist rather than staying as a sub vocalist. A reminder that Yeji is also an underdeveloped vocalist, but is STILL a Lead vocalist because she's clearly the 2nd best vocalist while Chaer is 3rd. There's a lot sources and proofs all over the internet that she is. It's not just because of her high notes!! Chaer is my bias, and I do have to say that it's not clear why the people in JYPE (or JYP himself) give her such high notes that she can't really support and it's been like this ever since Cheshire era while a main vocalist is there. It's just better for her to be center in a dance break on a title track cause she's a MAIN dancer. It's not the first time we see like this happening. This is the same situation as Twice too. Mina and Sana are literally getting more vocal lines than Jeongyeon, a lead vocalist while they are sub-vocalists.. but wait, Mina is the 4th best vocalist! Of course, it's understandable that they gave her more vocal lines and so should Chaer too cause her vocal skills are much better than her raps.
What I'm saying is that, I do can't defend that her high notes are not that good. She's being pushed to being a lead vocalist and I can understand why they did in BORN TO BE album, but not for other albums or eras. Maybe they pushed her to being a lead vocalist during BORN TO BE cause she has a soft tone like Lia or just something else. SHE DO deserves those vocal lines, but not high notes. I'd rather call her just as a vocalist rather than sub-vocalist cause those are different in my perspective. I do wish Lia get high notes. I do wish when Chaer was treated like in LOCO or Voltage or Blah Blah Blah or even further back then cause everything was okay. I didn't mind when she was 3rd or 4th or even LAST. But for now, I guess we gotta deal with it.
So please don't say that she's a bad vocalist. SHE'S DECENT and could even be the same level as Yeji if she had vocal lessons or trained her vocals.
(P.S. She was a lead vocalist during DALLA DALLA but they changed it to Sub-vocalist cause it was either much safer or that it was misinformation, most likely.)

Actuallyyy it wasn't fair though. For an example, their itz me album ( Wannabe ), Yeji has around 221 overall seconds, meanwhile the second place lia has 186, and the last being Yuna is 138 seconds. How in the world is that fair? This is actually fair, there's only around 30 second difference from first to last, meanwhile in their past albums there's a WHOPPING estimated 90 second difference. Even in that album, there's a 40 second difference from first to second place ( which is a REALLY big jump considering it's second place ), yet y'all complain about her being last when the difference is only 30 seconds?
