Welcome to a week in our life through the lens of the all important question: "What's for dinner?" This week was super fun because we got to celebrate Chloe's 10th birthday, Elijah got a snazzy new mattress and the kids got to go to the New York Philharmonic! Our meals are as "from scratch" as possible both for health and for being budget friendly! #largefamilymeals

Enoch's level of compassion and love knows no bounds. It just fills my heart every time I would hear him say 'I'm so happy for Chloe'. He truly is one of the sweetest kids I have ever come across. And I don't mean on UA-cam only, I mean in real life.

Oh, I agree with you SO much about Sweet Enoch! He has a special kind of ethereal sweetness to him. It surrounds him and his siblings. He is truly happy for them when they accomplish something and he always tells his parents how thankful he is for the meal they prepare. I just love Enoch…and all of the kids. Enoch takes the time to notice the special things about a food, treat, or activity and how happy it makes him. 🙏🏻 He is a very compassionate young man.

I realize that all the siblings are very close with each other but I get the sense that the bond between Melody and Enoch will be lifelong. As happens often in large families there will always be diads and triads that form within the siblings and these two little munchkins are going to be each other's best friends forever. He will protect her to no end.
Enoch is pure love. He always wants to make sure to show his gratitude for smallest things and, amazingly, at his age, take care emotionally of others…❤❤❤

Next time u make the meatballs, either fry them or bake them. Gives it a nice crisp on the outside also. Actually never seen someone put raw meatballs in the sauce unless ur going to simmer it for a few hours 😊❤😊

Happy Birthday Chloe🎉, it was so sweet seeing Noah holding baby Netta. Kudos to Marco & Amber for raising such amazing & talented children. (Also, whenever I finish my Parmesan cheese, I freeze the rind & add it to my pasta sauce/ soups)
Laminating each recipe from your mom maybe a little time consuming so for something a little bit quicker and just as efficient would be to buy plastic inserts and slide each page inside. That way you'll still be able to see the recipe but you won't get any smudges on the page. And you can put two recipes from to back in each insert.

A spatula would be a wonderful investment for you guys. Also if you cook the meatballs in the oven for a little while, before putting in the sauce, it will add a richer flavor .

Love the hair trims! I remember being that age and sitting on my hair. One time it even got caught in the cake mixer! Wow did I ever love how much a good size trim made it so much easier to maintain and fun to style. Good job Pearl! You can tell how all the sisters look up to you. What a treasure a sister is.🥰

Another fun video. Happy Birthday, Chloe! Your birthday dinner looked delicious. It was fun to see the salad "grow." I am happy that Elijah got a new mattress. I didn't realize you could get one with a cooling element in it. Moses and his backpack was adorable. Enoch will be the next one cooking in the kitchen. He takes everything in as Naomi and Marc bake and cook. The city offers so much; I am glad the children could attend a concert. All of the children are sweet, caring, smart, and talented. I am amazed Melody got to go to NYPhil at age of 5!! Actually, that’s when I started going to Phil in Kraków, Poland…65 years ago! I too would fall asleep at the very end 😂😅🤣

You can use the bread without toasting it, also adding grated cheese to the meatballs adds a lot of flavor. I fry my meatballs before adding to sauce, some bake them, that also enriches the flavor. You guys share so many pointers, I just thought I’d do the same…. Either way, yum

We need more Enoch’s in this world. All of the meals look great. How do you cook your asparagus? I also love them. I love how the family works together and are so loving. I also deal with back pain and I understand a good mattress makes a big difference. Loved the Birthday party and a ❤ to Naomi for that wonderful cake. She is a sweetheart. A beautiful young lady inside and out.

Hi Amber, it's very easy to make your own cream of mushroom soup. You can make it ahead and freeze it in the amount you need for your casserole.
I agree. I am a beginner cook and I’ve made great mushroom soup to replace the condensed version in casseroles. Freezes great

There are multiple base recipes for cream of soup base. Then you could make what you need fresh instead of canned anything. Yum! 🍄
Yes! Homemade Cream soups are super easy to make. Ex: olive oil, butter, onions, mushrooms & half&half or milk, S&P plus any spices you enjoy. Make a huge pot & freeze portions in flat ziplock bags for easy space saving. Doesn’t take much time, has no extra additives & is super duper affordable. About $10 of ingredients to yield about 10-15 servings!!
