I drove this "road" in 1973 in a twenty foot motor home. Was sketchy to say the least and then we got to the trestles. Wasn't sure if they were safe or not, but there was NO turning around, literally. My wife, two little ones (1 1/2 & 3) and myself got out, walked across the trestle and then I went back, got in the motor home, said a little prayer and proceeded across not one but two trestles. That's an insane story! Glad you all made it safe. I don't think those trestles could hold up a motor home today they're in rough shape.
