It's so obviously, that he wasn't interested in them, either in Irene or Janine too. He will never see a woman in "that way." Sorry , but the most important person in Sherlocks life is John. It was always a Sherlock and John story, not more but not less. By the way, Sherlock Holmes together with a woman would be totally out of character for him and contradict the original ACD canon. And Moffat and Gatiss made the end of season 4 like this, Sherlock and John alone with no women, only the two of them against the rest of the world. And Steven Moffat stated in an interview a few years ago, that Molly was only in the series to show that Sherlock is not really interested in women.
