Yup, even if we actually replace the Turners with a better OC, there's no way to know if it'd work out with Darnold either. We learned that the hard way with Getsy and our entire offense this season.
A)Its kinda unfair to aassume that there is no way Darnold has success without Oconnell. B) Having said that, his current qb coach in MIN is Josh McCown. The Raiders could hypothetically hire McCown away from MIN to be their next OC, which could make Darnolds transition more seamless. C) Because Mccown has not yet been an OC, that would hypothetically give us more time with the same OC before he gets hired away to be someone elses head coach.
@ Then when he leaves to become a HC then u will be bringing in another system. This is why you hire a offensive HC so u won’t have to worry about that being the scenario
About Miller: I was watching Raiders in 1974, not going all the way back but says this is our process for last 25 years: We now have 1 exceptional lineman in JPJ. He is having a rough season of errors and penalties as a rookie learning. Next year will be better but year 3 is when lineman are dialed in and killing. Miller might improve some next year but won’t be what he was. We won’t have peak Miller and peak JPJ @ same time. Miller will retire or trade off as a filler for another team when JPJ is peaking. The same exact thing happened when Miller was ranked#5 in the nfl, and we had this other guy named Richie Incognito ending his excellent career. AM I WRONG? Now go back and find out last time we had two O-lineman that were top 10 ranked at the same time. Gruden with his 10 year contract knew this was a massive problem & tried fixing by spending 1st round pick on the best tackle from Alabama getting Alex Leatherwood. He was hoping DC4 with good protection was enough to get us most if not all the way, and kept feeding him best RB & best WR he could. Yeah- stats show us that 65% of lineman wash out in the nfl, 65%!! Thats not injuries. The best TE is a massive win for us. Bowers is legendary. We won’t get a qb next year, there is no vet worth paying a ton for. The bust rate in draft us huge, so imo: BUY PROVEN O LINEMAN AND OVERPAY LIKE HELL!!! That helps ANY QB & RB. The best thing we have going for us right now is Tom Telesco. He will get us players we can use in the 2026 season. JPJ will be made of gold then. Hopefully some walk ons or hiden gems pop up in our defense along the way. Hopefully Maxx Crosby doesn’t give up on us by then and finally gets a side kick worth of his super powers. Bosa is good but won’t be no where without Khalil Mack. Mack was amazing for us but without his own side kick…
@@biggie6181 what we need is to beef up our OL with Will Campbell . If we have a bunk OL who ever is QB will be no good the OL makes the QB ( look what Joe Alt did for the chargers)
Im a Hurricane fan and have been following Colorado quite a bit as well. I was high on Ward and Sanders all year....but I watched my first Boise State game when they faced UNLV in the Mountain West Championship and was immediately sold on Jeanty. With Travis Hunter and the top 2 QB's off the board, Jeanty would be a huge difference maker day one and be a great consolation prize. Dude reminds me of Adrian Peterson, in who happened to be taken 6 picks after Jamarcus Russell....
No need to fit a round peg into a squared hole. He just needs to keep adding foundational pieces to the roster, something that we have never done before he got here.
Raiders will beat New Orleans too. The perfect Draft would be Ashton Jeanty That gives us another possible generational player. Second Round if he is there which he probably won’t be Deone Walker Defensive tackle Kentucky That pressure up the middle would be impossible to stop with him and Wilkins Or Mike Green from Marshall that dude has unbelievable spin move. Then Get Carson Beck. He plays well in structure he actually relatively mobile. He is 6’4 strong arm calm in pressure played in big games and his offense has asked him to make NFL throws. Then with the other picks get guard and another running back and have back field like Detroit. Keep The Turners. Scott knows three different offensives by some of the most successful offenses in the game Mc Daniels, Shanahan and his fathers.
@@kami1 I disagree. He makes NFL throws his supporting cast is young and he consistently played tougher competition. Then he calm under pressure and that offense really is not Qb friendly. Look at the throws he has to make every down compared to Dylan Garbriel. Beck makes throws into tight zone and men coverage over and over again. If he heels from this elbow injury and Raiders draft him they should have a steal.
agreed… Sanders is not a game changer…. Cam is tho. Giants will get their pick and the Raiders will have to trade up now for Sanders if Davis forces Telesco to do that… I like the idea of trading two picks for McCarthy (Vikings) instead
@@officialvaun3208no you take Jeanty! He's the best RB available and we need one bad! The lions and Falcons took a RB early and they both are stars. You don't pass up on Jeanty for some dumb logic or rolling the dice hoping you hit with a RB later in the draft
@@Raymel88 Jeanty is extremely good and easily the top RB coming out, but is he a generational talent like Brock? Consider how many other RBs exist in the upcoming draft that are good to great, quite a lot. If Jeanty was all that and more, then many mock drafts would place him in top 6 to be picked, but he can go as low as bottom 16 in the first round. It's due to the fact there's plenty of good RBs to work with as a starter that can produce results. You don't have that with other positions like QB, WR, guards or offensive tackles for this draft. It wouldn't surprise me if Telesco passed on Jeanty for another position in need like WR if they're not going to sign Tee Higgins in FA, or another CB or offensive lineman. While also drafting an RB in the third round.
Manning won’t be out till 2027. Ewers already talking about going back to school for next season….even then you’re only getting Manning if you truly the worst team in football. Nobody is trading away the chance to draft him.
@@BigBrueserit's crazy people don't know that Manning isn't coming out until 2027. That also means we have to continue to suck to get him. And if we don't you're not going to get him when that sweepstakes begins, unless you're willing to sell the farm.
@@Raymel88 no I do know when he’s coming out but I’d rather wait to see him develop and take him instead of hoping one of these other guys works out. And yes if I were in that position I would sell the farm to get him
This makes the most sense!!! I’m not sold on Sanders or Ward and don’t understand the hype they’ve received from the media. Singing a qb like Darnold, building the line, and getting a HR hitter at RB is a better than drafting a qb that won’t have the weapons to develop. And all you out there drinking the kool aid the media is serving, pour those cups out and put the cup down.
Sanders is overhyped and overrated, he gets more attention especially due to how obvious he does want to play for the Raiders. Ward though I think is legit and is much more low-key but as good if not better. People need to stop with signing Darnold non-sense. Vikings will most likely keep him around for at least another couple years since he does really well with Kevin O'Connell. Toss him in the Raiders with the Turners or a different OC and you may as well flip a coin whether he'll be good or bad.
They are going to need an even newer plan when they beat the Saints. They aren’t tanking and it’s going to get - better - AP said they are getting reps and cutting down on mistakes. The way it should be.
Carl, I’m guessing you are a fan of a Mountain West future Pac team to give Jeanty his due. I hate Boise State but even I can admit he is the best player in college this year
@@Raymel88 Technically if we held #1, we'd have more leverage to trade it for a lower pick to someone in the top 4 and get more draft picks for that year and the future while also snagging either Sanders or Ward. Partially feasible at #2, but #1 is just so much more appealing for a team desperate to get a guy they need.
We had Devonte Adams for years with a oline and qb very similar to this. Not to mention we had a top running back in Jacob’s. It did nothing. We definitely do not need a receiver
I like the idea of signing someone like Sam Darnold or another known commodity, and drafting someone like Ewers (who could be really good at the NFL level if allowed to slowly develop) in the 3rd round. Thanks Carl!
At this point the pick of Jeanty would make sense so long as they draft olineman in the 2nd and 3rd and/or sign the lineman to solidify right guard and tackle so to finally have a complete and competent line that can open lanes and give our QB time. Raiders definitely need to still find a WR1 and get an above average DE to pair with Crosby and Wilkins next year. Maybe try to get some DB steals in the draft or FA
Doesnt make sense to me at all, to allocate your best asset for the future(a top 10 draft pick) toward a pass catcher, when you already have Bowers to serve as the focal point of your passing offense and a high end #2 target in Meyers. The Raiders have too many holes to go all in on pass catchers. We have a big advantage, cap wise, by having two high end pass catchers on very very reasonable contracts. Exploit that advantage by allocating draft capital and cap space elsewhere, turning weaknesses into strengths rather tjan keeping those weaknesses, and turning a strength into a bigger strength. The former provides a much bigger ROI.
@luked78 I disagree with you. If you don't have someone who can get open on the other side, Bowers will see more doubles and dare I say triple teams. Just imagine how explosive this offense would have been if Adams kept his mouth quiet and Aidan was the starter from day one. Defense is good to go. To suffer that many injuries and still being solid, testament to good coaches.
@@elsalsero417 Good coaches... Like Getsy, and the other two who got fired mid season? Getsy's a football Terrorist, and the other guys clearly couldn't make things work for our offense. And there's AP who is practically useless as a HC other than being a glorified cheerleader. AP's game management is trash, he doesn't even do any playcalling, not even on his side of the ball in defense. If the team had good coaching, we wouldn't be 3-12. We'd be better but still not anywhere near playoff contention.
@elsalsero417 Jakobi Meyers DOES get open. And, he literally was one of the only players EVER this year to have over 100 targets and zero drops. EVER. Furthermore, Tucker IS getting better, and can stretch the field.. These moves do not happen in a vacuum. You only get ONE top ten pick, amd if you use it to improve one position, you CANT then use it to improve another position. You dont take a wr with a top 10 pick, unless you envision them being the focal point of your passing offense. You just dont, because that means you arent getting the best return on your investment. The biggest need on offense, outside of qb, is o-line. Then rb. Solve those three problems first and that alone will cause this offense to take off. We can wait until the 3rd, take an athletic, developmental wr, sign a vet on a 1 year prove it deal, to buy that 3rd rounder some time to come into his own.
@luked78 Darnold has had 1 good year, and it's with the team that everyone agreed was the MOST QB ready for a rookie to have success, so I don't trust that he's better than AOC. Someone's going to pay handsomely to misuse him, and he won't be as good for his next team.
Sam Darnold is not leaving the Vikings. That's the best situation for him to be in. He'd be insane if he left for any amount of money to come to Vegas. Just get Fields if we can get a QB in the 1st round, draft Jeanty and get Gabriel or Milroe in the 2nd and develop
We are based making no overall progress compared to the last 20 years. Sure this player here or that position there. But overall- we still are facing a 3 year rebuilding process. Getting “best player available” is smart but all we need is: QB LT Both gaurds RB WR1 Then a few guys on the defensive side. Then depth- not just any body, we basically need half our current starters to become the depth.
I think either guard position is OK, no need for drastic upgrades. Upgrades can be taken at free agency, but there's not many guards this draft, and Kolton still got some years left in him so LT is OK. It wouldn't hurt to think about a RT maybe the year after if Glaze doesn't improve. Regardless Oline does need some new guys to fill on whether guard or tackles but don't need to get too many guys for it.
I'd rather get Ashton Jeanty and Dillon Gabriel as the first 2 picks. Then use the salary cap on O'Line and defense next year. Andre James can go. And then JPJ and Dillon Gabriel will have the perfect synch.
If sanders and ward are off the board we take jeanty at 6 and draft Dylan Gabriel in the 2nd round he's not a top prospect but Oregon has a great track record with getting their quartbacks used to nfl offenses and wouldn't be a bad consultation especially if he's able show promise and I believe he's one of the biggest sleepers in this draft class if we're able to sign or trade for a decent guard and tackle we could have a chance of competing in our insanely stacked division
Minnesota has their franchise QB, so I can see them letting Darnold walk if he’s not on a 2 year deal (which I don’t know) if he’s signed for next year, I’d part with one of our 2nd or 3rd rounders for him the way he played this year. I don’t think McCarthy would have gotten on the field the way he’s played. Get him and draft Jeanty or Hunter in the 1st, grab a guard in the 2nd, and now we’re talking.
I dont know why fans are sleeping on Dart and Beck thinking that shedeur and ward are the only ones in this draft , dart and beck are already running in a pro style offense .
Beck didn't look good this season most likely due not having Brock to throw to and Monken as the Ravens OC. I do think Beck can drop down decently far in the draft making him a steal due to his recent injury.
@Raymel88 will Levis came from Kentucky Carson Beck from Georgia BIG BIG DIFFERENCE and anything else fans wanna try in school me on Carson Beck remember bro already playing in a pro style offense.
@@loyal2thesoil412 Did you even see his play this season? It was ass compared to past seasons. He'd be a competent QB in a any NFL team, but not a first round draft pick, and this was before the injury.
Settling not to get a QB of the franchise. What a wasted year, Hunter and Jeanty will probably be gone when they pick to. Nothing to get excited about next season. Darnold won't leave Minneapolis, plus he wouldn't be good as a Raiders QB.
Can't even get Jeanty's own last name right. At least put some respect on his name as he is easily the best RB in college and a Heisman finalist. How the hell you get both guys in a draft is also asinine as Coupon Tom doesn't trade up whatsoever. Only realistic choice to get between the two is Jeanty as another team will get Travis within the first three picks.
I could see Jeanty in first round, then Jalen Milroe in early second. Or, Gabriel in 3-4th round, i know he is only 5’11”, but so is Russel Wilson. Just saying, grab best player
The draft is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get, regardless how good the front runner played in college, cause the pick could be a let down like Jermarcus Russel
Congrats, you are reciting an exception to the rule. One of the biggest and well known busts in NFL draft history just because he was a top pick for the Raiders at QB in the draft. Shut it down folks, can't ever draft a QB if the Raiders are in top 3 in the draft again due to Jawalrus.
First we need two starting guards and a #1 wr. As for Mcdonald is he doing well because of him or because of all the parts are there in Minnesota including the best wr in the NFL. Look how good Cousins looked there vs how he looked in Atlanta. Other thing i don't agree with is Bowers was the best player available at a position of need. He might have been the bpa but Te wasn't a position of need. Rt, guard and rb were our biggest needs last off season.
Brock was never BPA for NEED. He was just a BPA and nothing more. If so many teams weren't so QB desperate, Brock would've been taken by the 10th pick.
What if one of those QB's turn out to be this years C J Stroud? Sports experts are already saying that about Cam, and I believe he will be the one to be an elite QB.As a QB,he has that 'It Factor '.I will be hotter than a Firecracker if we don't get him, and he comes into the league and light it up!
Raiders win suck bowl (2 of the worst teams) vs Jags which means they lose. You win, we lose. They won, we (the fans) lose. You can't ask a pro athlete to to lose on purpose however.
Jeanty 1st round Dillon Gabriel 2nd round OG 3rd Round Tez Johnson 4th Round Sign Tee Higgins !!!.....AOC Starts a Couple of games, then when Gabriel ready he takes over
We just did that with the Minshew experiment. I’m not saying Minshew & Darnold are similar but we can still draft a QB late if we consider Jeanty 1st rd. But Davis, Brady, and the fans want a QB
All the Raiders fan sites becoming obsessed and falling in love with certain players for the draft is not, and was not, realistic. We don't know who will be available, what players might get hurt, or have some other background issue that affects their draft status. The bottom line is we're not going to know until the season's over where we stand and then the team will have to make a decision.... can I get a decent quarterback in the draft , or do they have to go with a another free agent . It was never the team that talked about tanking... it was always the fans, so for fans to be mad they won a game it's really not fair to them.
I was not in favor of the tank. Until we lost 9 games in a row. Then I said- ok we are on track to be the worst Raiders season of all times. By that loss I said, ok - maybe we should loose out. Loss 10 was no surprise to anyone. Aiden steps up and plays his best nfl game ever. Fighting for his job. Pulls out a squeaker against a completely trash team. Now what?!! Remember last season when DC4, Minshew, AOC were all ranked almost evenly? AOC was picked by patriots coaches (remember the patriots coaches signed on AP) and the patriots coaches when here thought AOC was the next Brady. Well, Brady was a bench warmer a long time and honed his skills mentally. And when finally giving a shot, in complete desperation made a change in the way he played his game. And it worked. Did we just see AOC turn from coal to one sparkle of a diamond in the rough? Idk. I hope so because he is our QB moving foreword with AP. Do I think it will happen- odds say no. Like me winning the lottery. But I still have $20 in the lottery pool at work. Wasting my money on lottery & Raiders hoping against hope we hit big. Remember when I said I was smart? No? Good believe I didn’t. Dumb enough to not be smart, smart enough to not be an idiot. Stuck in middle hell, just like my Raiders. Does anyone have any John Madden dna we can try making a clone of? Thats our best hope for next superbowl win- lets go 2045 season!
Because our RBs suck ever since Jacobs left. Even Sincere we only got to see a short amount of time before he got injured and he was arguably the best RB we had this season. Practically all our guys on the defense will come back from injury at least assuming they'll have a contract extension outside of Maxx, and Christian. Koonce can get a one year "prove it" deal, and Jakorian was a rookie last year, he still got a couple years left for the team. CB is still a need so if Nate Hobbs doesn't get a new contract then one will get picked up in the draft or even FA.
Me da tristeza un equipo tan patetico, este "entrenador" fue lo peor que pudo pasar en este equipo, sin un buen Q.B. no se puede aspirar a nada. Gracias 🤓❤
I’m serious sick of all of you saying Sam Darnold will be the best option for the Raiders. It’s seriously a brain dead statement. Kevin O’Connell is a fantastic play caller and a known QB whisperer. Kyle Shanahan knows how to get the best out of what he’s got. Why do you think any of that applies to the Raider situation? If he was that good, why would they move on from regardless of what they have sitting on the bench? If the Vikings move on from Darnold they will do it with the idea that they can similar production out of a dude who’s never played a regular season snap for 3/4 less if the cost, which doesn’t say much about Darnold if he was that good. Stop with this damn narrative it’s seriously dumb. And if we do get Darnold you will see I am right and yall dummies will be sitting here running yall circles.
How come nobody mentionong tge dimes 12 was delivering...on the roll...guys in his face...whole league like raiders got a qb...RAIDERS..no we dont....😮
Do we really need another EDGE rusher though? Maxx will be back, I figure Koonce will get a 1 year extension just to see what he can do since this season was stolen from him due to the injury. Tyree is improving slowly, Chiasson is a great depth piece. Even Snowden before the NFL suspends him for that DUI sometime later next season can be another depth piece.
Here’s the plan. Be bad for the next three years and then let Bowers go to a real team to win. Stay mediocre for the next 20 years and never become relevant again. That’s the plan.
Nah I’ll pass, we need more than a QB fill those holes and hope we hit Ashton jeanty or T. McMillan the wr from ARZ is the way to go. Or draft the corner from Michigan
There is only one argument about AP at this point. Worst or second worst HC we ever had. This is either the worst or second worst season the Raiders EVER had…we will see in a conference weeks. Right now we try to tell ourselves maybe it’s not that bad- because we don’t want it to be. In 10 years simply looking at the history, this’ll be obvious.
AP is getting fired. Telesco gotta earn his pay. Meaningless wins for a 2-12 team this late in the season harm their future. Tank was never real due to the team really that damn bad.
Sign QB Darnold in free agency he's a proven QB not great but good and better what we have now then sign a good WR in free agency then draft LG Booker and maybe RG Ratliff to bolster the O line then get HB Judkins then WR Horn Jr the best slot reciever in this draft this alone would make us a much better team the only way is up from here
If no ward or sanders Aston jeanty draft Jalen milroe or Dillion gabe resign FA and sign tee Higgins no FA qb is not working draft qb let the room compete
Stay away from Darnold. Their coach is why he is succeeding and the Raiders won’t have a coach who can help him thrive. Stick with the QBs we got and draft Jeanty or Tmac. And if raiders suck again draft a QB in 2026. Absolutely do not trade the farm for Ward or sanders
I do think Raiders absolutely need to get a QB for next season, even if they can't get Ward or Sanders. Whether it's from the draft via Dillon Gabriel or Ewers or Milroe (assuming the later two decide not to play for their final year in college), or a vet (honestly who is available that can be signed other than Fields or Cousins? neither are good options, and I think we're gonna cut Minshew anyway).
@CopenorMcbrokeleg I used to think that so I understand where you’re coming from but drafting a guy is just gunna leave Is thinking “what would he be like if he develops” like AOC this past year. People will wanna see what they got rather than draft another guy. I think we stick with what we got and they either improve or they stay the same and set us up in an okay spot to draft a QB next year. Nothing is gunna get them over the hump so why waste draft capital or valuable FA money just to not truly be a contender. Ya know?

C) Because Mccown has not yet been an OC, that would hypothetically give us more time with the same OC before he gets hired away to be someone elses head coach.
@ Then when he leaves to become a HC then u will be bringing in another system. This is why you hire a offensive HC so u won’t have to worry about that being the scenario
I'll take Jeanty and the QB from Indiana
Ill take Dillon or even Jackson Dart over that dude.
About Miller:
I was watching Raiders in 1974, not going all the way back but says this is our process for last 25 years:
We now have 1 exceptional lineman in JPJ.
The bust rate in draft us huge, so imo:
BUY PROVEN O LINEMAN AND OVERPAY LIKE HELL!!!
Sooner or later we have to get a long term QB. As u see this year with Bowers Yes he’s great but we won’t win without a QB!

Darnold ain’t leaving the Vikings
Tommy T better figure it out at QB and RB
And for God's sake, It better not be Dillon Gabriel at 5'11"
I'll take Gabriel over Sanders any day
No need to fit a round peg into a squared hole. He just needs to keep adding foundational pieces to the roster, something that we have never done before he got here.
@@mitchellvang2691 Thank GOD you're NOT the Raiders GM. In NO Universe or Alternate Reality is Gabriel better than Sanders.
@@mitchellvang2691of course you wouldn’t, you don’t know football.. 😹 like most Raider fans.. lol
Good picks im all in 💯
Carson Beck is the worst QB in his class. His stats this year is absolutely garbage
I'm just worried about that shoulder injury beck suffered hopefully it doesn't have a long term affect on his play
Watching Ashton Jeanty all season living here in Boise, he really is amazing and I hope it translates in the NFL!!
We get best player available….period….then work around that.
If we don't get a QB it would be nice to have AOC get a fair chance , healthy with a real O-line and RB ...
How does Dart compare to Darnold when he came out. Minnesota not giving up Darnold
The plan should be patience, and incremental improvement. Firing coaches is not the solution. The first pick in the draft is not the solution.
agreed… Sanders is not a game changer…. Cam is tho. Giants will get their pick and the Raiders will have to trade up now for Sanders if Davis forces Telesco to do that… I like the idea of trading two picks for McCarthy (Vikings) instead
Raiders need to take BPA.. Will Johnson or Abdul Carter
Jeanty
@@mitchellvang2691not taking jeanty when there’s running backs later in the draft
Would rather get McMillan if he's available, team needs a true #1 WR to help out Brock and Jakobi.
Draft BPA grab two QBs after the first round you can never have too many QBs
Tetairoa McMillan or Ashton Jeanty, Josh Conerly Jr., Grey Zabel, Carson Beck
Go best available grab jeanty wait for manning.
And yes if I were in that position I would sell the farm to get him
Same old tired story. It’ll never change in our lifetime. Great vid though
I’d take Abdul Carter, keep AOC, draft an OG in round 2, sign T Higgs and Javonte Williams, Carl.
I’m Up for this. Although the Vikings could ReSign Darnold.. I say take a QB in the 2nd or 3rd
Dominant o line. All involved look better w/a couple extra seconds in the pocket. Tom T knows this (Slater, Johnson ).Lower the portcullis!
I believe the vikings are going to tag Donald
They are going to need an even newer plan when they beat the Saints.
They aren’t tanking and it’s going to get - better -
AP said they are getting reps and cutting down on mistakes.
The way it should be.
Devin Neal from Kansas Jayhawks is impressive as well
Carl, I’m guessing you are a fan of a Mountain West future Pac team to give Jeanty his due.
I hate Boise State but even I can admit he is the best player in college this year
They never had the #1 spot due to SOS. NY had to win and that's not happening. Just draft Jenty or BPA and grab Gabriel and lets go!
It doesn't matter if we had number 1. But we had number 2 at the least! But we gave that up too for a pointless win
@ ?? Sanders is gone at 1. So what’s the difference between 2 & 6 ?
No we had #1 we already had the SOS advantage & even the last 3 games we had the SOS advantage as long as we lost we were number 1 no matter what
You guys think this is bad? When we beat those awful Saints next weekend, we might drop off the top 10 pick
We win the next 2 games we still at 10 bro
Get a QB, a RB, and clean up the O line. Lastly get some depth at LB and this team could shock the league next year like the Lions did
im still not sold on replacing AOC
We are gonna get teteoria mcmillan wr from arizona we still need a true X reciever
Yea I'm going Jeanty for sure if we miss on QB, just build a monster OL, get another WR then stack the D as much as possible
Honestly I wouldn’t care to take a chance on a qb if that means we get Ashton Jeanty.
Darnold will only work if the Raiders can sign the Vikings OC
Draft best player available, and rebuild the interior OL and right guard ,help Bowers
I say Raiders are getting another playmaker on offense. Jeanty or McMillan. And draft Beck in the later rounds.
I wonder how far Beck will drop, especially due to his injury. It wouldn't surprise me to see him go down to fourth or fifth round.
Take the best player available. And it sure isn’t Sanders!!!
You had me until you said Sam Darnold
Whats the issue?
@luked78 Darnold has had 1 good year, and it's with the team that everyone agreed was the MOST QB ready for a rookie to have success, so I don't trust that he's better than AOC. Someone's going to pay handsomely to misuse him, and he won't be as good for his next team.
@@danielnwoke4274 Could be worse, imagine if Raiders sign Cousins. I hope I didn't jinx it since it can happen.
Brainy Brady has a plan I remember a few seasons back Waller was the second coming RELAX let’s see what Brady brings to the organization
We are based making no overall progress compared to the last 20 years. Sure this player here or that position there. But overall- we still are facing a 3 year rebuilding process.
Getting “best player available” is smart but all we need is:
QB
LT
Both gaurds
RB
WR1
Then a few guys on the defensive side.
Of course, draft an O-Linemen or two as well. WR's in the 3rd and 4th.
We likely ain’t gettin’ Darnold.
Next week, jags vs titans, one win and we fall to pick 3/4
Something tells me they’ll get their qb…
Minnesota has their franchise QB, so I can see them letting Darnold walk if he’s not on a 2 year deal (which I don’t know) if he’s signed for next year, I’d part with one of our 2nd or 3rd rounders for him the way he played this year. I don’t think McCarthy would have gotten on the field the way he’s played. Get him and draft Jeanty or Hunter in the 1st, grab a guard in the 2nd, and now we’re talking.
Obtain David Bell (Browns) or Charlie Jones (Bengals) ex-Aidan college playmates for WR. Either one.
Beck gives Will Levis vibes.
@Raymel88 will Levis came from Kentucky Carson Beck from Georgia BIG BIG DIFFERENCE and anything else fans wanna try in school me on Carson Beck remember bro already playing in a pro style offense.

Genty in the 1st.rnd.,Gabriel in the 2nd.rnd.
No to Gabriel too small weak arm no thanks
Settling not to get a QB of the franchise. What a wasted year, Hunter and Jeanty will probably be gone when they pick to. Nothing to get excited about next season. Darnold won't leave Minneapolis, plus he wouldn't be good as a Raiders QB.
I'm glad we aren't getting #1. Let's go out and get Travis Hunter or Alshon Jeffries (Both if it works out).
Well there are alot of good rbs
Later in draft so build our trenches dline n oline
There will be a lot of lineman later in the draft too. You get the generational guy! BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE.
The draft is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get, regardless how good the
front runner played in college, cause the pick could be a let down like Jermarcus Russel

Cam Scattebo!
Jeanty will b gone at 6 and Sam Darnold is resigning wit Minn playoff performance pending

Does anyone have any John Madden dna we can try making a clone of? Thats our best hope for next superbowl win- lets go 2045 season!
Half our defense is gone and people wants to draft a fuckin runningback with the 6th pick
Gracias 🤓❤
Think about the lions, why can’t we do that. It takes time .. 😢 … man :/
Time, and excellent coaching, especially a great OC like Ben Johnson. We have neither.

I don’t care I’ll go after adul carter from penn state dudes a star in the making just watch his highlights
That's what I'm talking about.
Build the lines first.
I saw him vs Oregon and he was nowhere to be found.
Worst. Win. Ever.

What about justin feilds to go with Jentry
Milroe could still play another year in college, he hasn't made a decision yet, so be prepared for Dillon Gabriel to be the QB Raiders get.
Ya know?
