I ask that you all make dua for my beloved cousin, that Allah widens his grave, forgivs his sins and grants him the station of a shaheed. Beyond that, I ask that you all take a lesson from this and look into your own lives. Look deep within and rectify the most important thing in your life, and that is the relationship with your creator. We don't know when our time will come, and it may come all of a sudden, so oh my beloved ones, prepare, because a day like this will soon come upon you and you will wish you had more time. May we all take heed from this reminder. In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. 4For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. 5Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” 7The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” 8Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath. 10The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.” 11He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’ ” 12Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” 13But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” 15The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. Honor the Father and the Son 16For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath. 17But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.” 18Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. 19Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. 20For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 21For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. 22For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. Life and Judgment Are Through the Son 24“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. 26For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29and come forth-those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. 30I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. The Fourfold Witness 31“If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true. 32There is another who bears witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true. 33You have sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth. 34Yet I do not receive testimony from man, but I say these things that you may be saved. 35He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light. 36But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish-the very works that I do-bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. 37And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. 38But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. 39You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. 41“I do not receive honor from men. 42But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. 43I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. 44How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? 45Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you-Moses, in whom you trust. 46For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. 47But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead. 15And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe. Nevertheless let us go to him.” 16Then Thomas, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with Him.” I Am the Resurrection and the Life 17So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. 18Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away. 19And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. 20Now Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. 21Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 22But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.” 23Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” 25Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” 27She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” Jesus and Death, the Last Enemy 28And when she had said these things, she went her way and secretly called Mary her sister, saying, “The Teacher has come and is calling for you.” 29As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly and came to Him. 30Now Jesus had not yet come into the town, but was in the place where Martha met Him. 31Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, “She is going to the tomb to weep there.” 32Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. 34And He said, “Where have you laid him?” They said to Him, “Lord, come and see.” 35Jesus wept. 36Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!” 37And some of them said, “Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?” Lazarus Raised from the Dead 38Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” 40Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
My brothers and sisters, dont think death comes only for the elder ones. Let this be fine reminder that no one has guarantee to live long. So live today as if it is your last day and repent to Allah. May Allah have mercy on the soul of brother Sohail, he truly died as shaheed inshaAllah.

They raise their hands up to him, and still thank him and show appreciation and humbleness.
Alhamdolillah..very good reminder for our 3rd and 4th generation who seem to be moving away from their Deen and getting involved in haram practices...I find it really sad that the newer generation find it difficult to raise their hands and supplicate for the deceased ..what is the problem and why don't they supplicate ? They may say it's bidah to do this...absolute nonsense, everything is half measure now ...

Aameen

Salam brother...what happened?
what a a beautiful speech. جزاك الله خير على هذا التذكير
6When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
7The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
8Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.
And that day was the Sabbath. 10The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”
11He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’ ”
12Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” 13But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
15The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.
Honor the Father and the Son
16For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath. 17But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”
18Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.
Life and Judgment Are Through the Son
24“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
The Fourfold Witness
31“If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true.

"O you who believe fear Allah as He should be feared and die not except in the state of Islam"
(al-Imran 3:102)
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
*“The rights of one Muslim over another are six.”*
It was said: What are they, O Messenger of Allaah? He said:
1.If you meet him, greet him with salaam; (Saying Assalamualaykum)
2.If he invites you, accept the invitation;
3.If he asks for advice, give him sincere advice;
4.If he sneezes and praises Allaah(Alhamdulillah), say Yarhamuk Allaah (may Allaah have mercy on you);
5.If he falls sick, visit him;
6.And if he dies, attend his funeral.
Sahih Muslim (2162)
Subhanallah yani look at this we think we have no part to play out as Muslims over one another but this is what keeps us united

*O MUSLIMS DON'T NEGLECT QURAN:*
وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مَهْجُورًا
*And the Messenger will say, "O my Lord, my people had made this Qur'an the object of their ridicule."*
Quran Chep 25 Verse 30
👉The Arabic word mahjur is capable of several meanings. As such, the sentence may mean:" "these people did not regard the Qur'an as worthy of their consideration: they neither accepted it nor followed it".
👉Dear my Muslim brothers and sisters, Read Quran everyday even if you read only one Page. Don't just put it inside your cupboard.
*You will be rewarded 10 rewards for each letter read.*
👉Seeking Barakah of the Qur’an is worth more than hustling to increase our social status or profit margins - these things will die with us in this life and will add to nothing to us in the Hereafter life.
Qur’an will intercede for its companions on the Day of Resurrection.
👉Muslim (804) narrated that Abu Umaamah al-Baahili said: I heard the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) say:
*“Read the Qur’aan, for it will come on the Day of Resurrection interceding for its companions.”*
👉Muslim (223) narrated that Abu Maalik al-Ash‘ari said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
*“The Qur’aan is evidence for you or against you.”*
👉Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Either it will be for you, if you sought to draw close to Allah means of it, and you fulfilled the obligations towards the Holy Qur’an, namely believing its stories, obeying its commands, heeding its prohibitions and venerating and respecting the Holy Qur’an, in which case it will be proof for you,
Or it will be the opposite, if you disrespected the Qur’an and neglected its words and meanings and failed to act upon it, and you did not fulfil the obligations towards it. In that case it will be a witness against you on the Day of Resurrection.

Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead. 15And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe. Nevertheless let us go to him.”
16Then Thomas, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with Him.”
I Am the Resurrection and the Life
17So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days.
22But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.”
23Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”
24Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
25Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
27She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”
Jesus and Death, the Last Enemy
28And when she had said these things, she went her way and secretly called Mary her sister, saying, “The Teacher has come and is calling for you.” 29As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly and came to Him. 30Now Jesus had not yet come into the town, but was in the place where Martha met Him. 31Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, “She is going to the tomb to weep there.”
32Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”
33Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. 34And He said, “Where have you laid him?”
They said to Him, “Lord, come and see.”
35Jesus wept. 36Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!”
37And some of them said, “Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?”
Lazarus Raised from the Dead
38Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”
Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
40Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying.
Life and Judgment Are Through the Son
24“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
The Fourfold Witness
31“If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true.

Wallahi this hit hard.. the believer is the one who when Allah (SWT) blesses them with good, they thank him and are appreciative. And when he send hardships and calamities into their life. They raise their hands up to him, and still thank him and show appreciation and humbleness. Because they understand that this dunya is a test.. and no one in history were tested more than the prophets. And through that hardship, through that sadness, through that calamity. If you maintain sabr. Then that hardship will be the key for you to enter jannah. Bi'idthnillah. May Allah (SWT) illuminate our brothers grave. May he make it from the gardens of paradise. When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
Sixth Seal: Cosmic Disturbances
12I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. 13And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. 14Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. 15And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Walahi so true may allah bless our brother high ranks in jannah ameen these speeches brings hearts closer to allah ❤

My father passed away the day this video was uploaded subhanallah and it’s truly heart breaking for me as a 17 year old 😔

May Allah SWT give highest place to you father in Jannat ul Firdous. May Allah SWT give you sabr and patience. Be steadfast on your deen and keep praying for your father, this is what he requires now.
May Allah ease your suffering and give you the best patience. Wish I could give you a hug. But continue to pray for him and elevate his status in the Hereafter until you meet.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajeoon.
Ever so sad and sorry for your loss. Alhamdulillah, a poignant reminder to all especially with so many youngsters attending and listening.
We all pray Allah SWT accepts and multiplies Sohails good deeds, forgives his shortcomings, bestows him a high place in Jannah, and gives all his family and friends patience and courage to bear the loss...Ameen!

Our Prophet Muhammed SAWS said who say this his or her sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah)

2. Regret the sin we did
3. Seek Allah's forgiveness and repent sincerely back to him (This Dua'a)
4. Make a promise to Allah that you'll do your best not to repeat this sin again

My Father & mother passed away to the life of Barzakh in August 2021 (Covid 19) Alhamdullilah both were practicing Muslim & since they've passed away teaches me that this materialistic life is nothing (Just an exam to do good) love Allah(SWT) & beloved Prophet Mohammad(SAWW) & all the companions (Sahaba Rasool) Help the people who are in need (You'll be blessed truely if you get the chance to help someone) be humble & polite & respectful to other's.
May Allah (SWT) forgive my parents & all Muslims who've passed away & grant them peaceful life in Barzakh as of now (Grant them the access of Jannah) Ameen Suma Ameen.

Such a Strong meaning 😢
Allah bless you guys for this reminder
Mashallah what a speech.and what a reminder. Indeed one day every soul shall taste death. And addressing the issue of the people being obsessed with worldly gains money etc…..and then it’s game over….death comes….and you have nothing in your account for the akhirah.
This speech has shook me to my core.
May Allah grant brother Sohail Jannat Al Firduas. Ameen
