God, Adam's problem was that he needed to prove he had come along way since being known as that "Trailer Trash" from Pigeon Hollow, VA. It reminds me of when Victor Newman acquired Jabot in 1989. Also over the years, Adam lost his fortune over and over to so many folks but he perservered as did Palmer Cortlandt.
