I know the Erica/Brooke scenes were the highlight..but Ruth and Joe meeting their grandson for the first time...ohmygod I'm bawling. I'm so glad Brooke had Tad's son. The Tad/Brooke story was my favorite. Brooke knew better than to fall in love with Tad, but she did anyway..and yeah, Tad went back to Dixie...but Jamie was proof that Tad and Brooke mattered. Damn...I miss my show...
I never liked Dixie, and hated the fact they paired her up with Tad and foisted that couple on us for so many years. Dixie was so insipid whereas Tad had sparkle.
That's why she was her best sparring partner/enemy. Brooke knew how to give it back to Erica. Not to mention their catfights were not only vicious but HILARIOUS as well!

Well, Tom married the woman who was supposed to be caring for Laura. As I recall, Barbara was working & left the little girl alone & she was hit by a drunk driver & killed. It probably didn’t help that Tom was a recovering alcoholic

I liked Brooke. I started watchin AMC around Oct 1991. The only time I despised Brooke was in 2001 when she helped her daughter Laura to keep Leo away from Greenlee.
I’m almost 37 and I’ve watched AMC all my life and Greenlee in my opinion is the best character to ever come out of that show. She made it so enjoyable! Her and Leo were the best couple next to Angie and Jesse!
