This is honestly my favourite song by Bastille and I have such a vivid memory of seeing them at a festival in 2014. It was one of the last days of the festival and I was so exhausted after sleeping in a tent for 2-3 nights. Their set is amazing as always and then I hear them start playing the first notes of this song and I actually started crying. It was a weird mixture of happiness that I actually got to hear them sing it live but mostly just pure exhaustion from me hahah

I listened to this after a vacation. I just sat there, on that dirty train, full of dust, watch out on the window and thought about that love I felt about those people I was with in that two weeks, about the feels and memories I earned there, far away from the problems, work, and my mother. It was just the summer vibe all around us, I found special feels in someone I needed to say bye for the next vacation we'll spend there, in the next summer. I listened to this after a vacation. I just sat there, on that dirty train, full of dust, watch out on the window and thought about that love I felt about those people I was with in that two weeks, about the feels and memories I earned there, far away from the problems, work, and my mother.
It was just the summer vibe all around us, I found special feels in someone I needed to say bye for the next vacation we'll spend there, in the next summer.
I still understand that pain I felt on that train, and everytime I listen to this song it's reminding me of the good old days I miss too much.
