majin i was a ak player before king. king was to slow and tanky. thats why i choose a king. more poke options
AK has better pokes though. I always was a King player and I still don't know how to use AK but he is a lot more like a mishima with a couple King moves thrown in there.

@@SWMG57 they're played completely different. AK is like a mishima mixed with a wrestler but he's not a grappler like King. He's more of a brawler but he doesn't have as many options. Majin isn't that good with AK but if you wanna see a nice one look up themainmanswe or jdcr in the ttt2.

unless they change it since your king is at blue ranks anyone that does not have any toon at blue rank that fights you loses fewer points than normal

I'm still confused what's the difference between armour king and king??
So after giving Armor King more play time, it is far more clear to me that King is a better character.
King is better because he has better tracking, a stronger throw game, more formidable approach tools (f,f+1, f,f,n,1+2, a better f+2 string, running 3, f+4), safer all around, more plus frame moves, more guaranteed followups, more ch confirms, and a much better rage mode.
AK has better standing punishment, better keep away, a better punch parry, a better power crush, more CH launchers, easier Burning Knuckle setups, better wall bounce, crouch dash chain throws, better combo damage all around, and better lows.
King's ability to remain safe while playing offense and defense while having such a powerful CH confirm in d/f+2,[1] makes him a very strong character. King literally has every tool to win save for abusable low attacks for plus frames...and that's before he becomes even better in rage mode.
AK has every tool to win as well, but he MUST play a more defensive style due his approach being either high or a steppable mid....or high/steppable. Furthermore, his rage drive doesn't grant him anywhere near the utility of King's.
