he's going to be passed soon, last time I've checked (few days ago) he had around +600,000 subs than Tseries, so now he has +250,000... The Mr Beast effect is gone! Anyway, Tseries was supposed to pass ahead of him already 1 month and a half ago, he's been holding!
In some ways it will be a symbol. The corporate has taken over YT already, most videos watched on the platform aren't from UA-camrs anymore. TV channel in particular have the capacity and experience to produce a lot of videos every day. UA-camrs to keep up had to professionalize themselves, the time of people uploading amateur vlog and content on YT and getting famous over it is long gone. Also YT isn't really supporting its creators that much. So all together having the most subscribed channel not a UA-camr anymore but a corporation is a symbol of the change that has happen to YT and the internet in general!
