Filtering is LEGAL on all UK roads except motorways. Even solid white lines are legal to filter.
Solid white lines, you can overtake and filter ONLY if the vehicle you are passing is travelling at 10mph or less.
Something I used to do, if you have to push your way back in to traffic, always try to wave thanks to the car that gives way. You can get away with a shit load of silly stuff if you just wave thanks.
BTW, one thing I didn't mention in my email, keep a consistent upload schedule, it helps the youtube algo and pushes your content further.
One last thing, are you one the bike today, or did you chicken out?
Oh wow I wasn't actually aware of that about solid white lines, I must have been slightly misinformed, good to know though cause now i can make progress a touch quicker! Yeah waving really seems to be a bikers get out of jail card haha. Upload schecdule finally exists again hahah

It's been 10 years since i was on a 125. Just got back into biking and done my full license and at the first opportunity i was filtering without a second thought :D no risky filtering...yet
Yet!! Hahaha love that! Yeah it definately just comes flooding back to you doesn't it and having the oppurtunity to avoid traffic it just cant be missed haha

Sometimes i get nervous and then some nutter fly's up the inside of me and i just go for it. The only concern i have is getting away from lights between the middle of two cars as you said, especially on a 125, been squished in the middle a few times by angry drivers which is scary. Love the style of commentary with this video, explaining what you're doing and why, would love to see some more videos in this style
Oh yeah I definately felt that when I was on my 125, not so bad now because I can quickly and confidently zoom away. All about just putting yourself in the least risky positions. Thanks alot rocket! I'll certainly aim to do some more like this, any ideas what you'd like to see
@@pudmoto not a problem, idk i just really enjoy the style of you talking through what you're doing almost like a live tutorial, could be cool to implement that with your existing commentary style. Whatever youre doing tho, its working, you'll be at 2k subs in no time

If i think I can fit Im going past road markings be dammed. What I tend not to do I filter to the front of a roundabout, just so I dont get stuck in between cars or have to shoot out into a turn quickly to gain space. Ive had a few people who think they can beat me of the line. I even had an impromptu drag race once by some sports car, who gapped me hard but I wasnt expecting it and bounced 1st gear of the rev limiter. Was fun though.
Oh and Im going in the cycle box, cyclists dont use em they just run reds.
Edit: If someone tries to race you off the line its definitely game on every time!
Hahaha fair enough matey! Yeah as you can see from the video the filtering to the roundabout wasn't the greatest idea so tend not to do it as much. Oh yeah game on every single time, never been beat yet though haha

I never felt good filtering on my 125, other than up the odd dual carriageway.
It's the traffic lights in town. Never felt good relying on some car driver deciding not to be a tw@t. On my 650R I have no problem pulling well away from cars, so I filter every chance I get. Not just on motorways.
Oh really? I'm quite the opposite i think, I felt like i could go through any gap and do whatever i wanted on the 125 when filtering
