First of all Mac. Vs pc is basically a personal opinion thing, they are basically comparable in most areas. Basically it is just insecure people fighting over an object so they feel justified for their choice of purchase. Same as Chevy vs Ford or Lamborghini vs Ferrari, Xbox vs PlayStation, coke vs Pepsi, etc. And B, Ben made this so it can be used without having to angle the screen back from the base of the laptop which would take up more space. This you can use with the keyboard and mouse underneath the screen. Thirdly, netbooks may be small and can be used in less space, their tiny screens, and cramped keyboard are very hard to get any real work done. Also with a tablet you can't have a physical keyboard without putting it lean back at an angle like a normal laptop, not to mention there are many things that tablets just can't do.
That's not true. It's better to not get a mac when video editing if you're doing quite a few shots and a large length of film. That way you can put lots of RAM in the machine, and if you really wanted to (why anyone uses OS X is beyond me, it's just a fancy looking UNIX) you could run it as a hackintosh.
