Im not familiar with preamps. Does this replace the vintage D2 500w head but in pedal form? So, If I were to get a different amp like a Phil Jones, turn this pedal on, does it deactivate the phil jones pre amp but use its speaker for the Markbass pedal??
have Little Mark Tube 800, and may be able to get all the sounds out of it, but I usually practice using a board with an aux in and headphones. However, if I bought this, I could get the sound on the headphones, then during a performance, run it straight into my Effects In on my amp, and have the same sound without endless tweaking. I already have a Mark Bass Compressore and an 11-band equalizer, and if I performed in a difficult room or with bass drums or keyboards that are so close to my bass tone as to create mush, I could tame them with the equalizer. It's very tempting to do this. I already have a Deluxe Sans Amp that sounds pretty good, but I feel this would be better for getting the exact sound I want. My Sans Amp has no tubes, and I always run everything straight up. A slight touch on my Sans Amp makes a huge difference in the sound. I usually control the tone through minor adjustments on my active basses.
Man this pedal is Amazing!! Thanks for this great review!!
Thanks
I like this demo very much.
Thanks
I didn't know this pedal exists until yesterday, it sounds pretty sweet and very much like a real tube amp
It is!
Me either.
Very nice demo ! A great preamp. Thank you ;-)
Thanks a lot

I don't know the D2 500w head so I can't tell
I’ve got the MB Vintage LM Vintage head, same great clean sound. But DAMN those distortions sound killer!
Thanks
Can the head not quite do the range of distorted sounds as the pedal?
Great demo. Made me want to buy one. How is is through headphones for silent practice?
It works perfect with headphones
@@pertybass Thanks!
