I had back surgery on October 25th it's been 4 weeks, and I feel much better. We have 4 kids 6,9,14, and 17, and my thought was I have been in so much pain for 6 months before to the point some people thought I was lying. But the fact was I prayed to the Lord and realized that I was in his hands, and it was the strangest feeling that came over me. I became calm and collected as I walked into the surgery room. And when I woke up, the first thing I did was move my legs to make sure everything was all good and thank our lord. Then they told my husband was at target. I said, "Are you sure you talked to mine? He doesn't shop! They said yes, he said you needed a life jacket right away because you said you're going to the river to kayak and fish !lol And yes, I did go do that!
Thank you for sharing this! I had an MRI last Friday for an ongoing condition and the neurosurgeon wants to see me personally next month, it’s looking like back surgery. I have total peace about it and everyone else except like one person is acting like I should be scared.
The Bible said pray for others that you may be healed! So I will be praying for you for sure. I'm also asking for prayer for my 5year old grandson harper. 🙏 he needs healing. thank you all. Angels 😇 over you..God's hand on you and your Dr. For your surgery.

Amen, Phil! I've had two back fusions and I give all the credit to God and my surgeon who actually prayed with me before each procedure. I felt SO at peace being wheeled into the OR. A peace that I've never felt before, and I've had a few surgeries, so I knew God had this.

I had a kyphoplasy on Sept 2, 2022. I had it outpatient, walked out of the hospital on my own, no pain meds needed. Going in, major pain. Leaving, felt great! May you have the same experience!
I've had many care center patients who had this surgery- like a miracle compared to what they had to suffer 40 years ago and leading up to the kyphoplasy was developed. Prayers that your experience is positive and get the pain relief you need. Just be sure to follow the post surgery instructions to give it the best chance to work!!! Hardest part of the experience since feel soooo much better afterward that some get further injuries cause they feel so well!!!!💕💕💕💕

Phil... I fell in January of this year and frame L5. I had the exact same surgery you are having. I was walking the same day. Recovery was a bit slow but I did well. I actually had a 2nd big back surgery in June. This was a monster surgery. God bless you and I pray for a speedy recovery!

I think it's his generation that has high pain tolerance because my mom is 87 and she has a very high tolerance and continues to do things you don't think an 87 year old woman would do.

I had a compression fracture at L1 and back in the nineties they fused fr T11 through L3 and I have had a lot of pain from mine. I would like yall to keep us up on Phil's progress with his surgery, sounds as if they don't use titanium anymore. God Bless Phil and all the Robertsons through this surgery.
Having endured 4 back surgeries since 1997, the latest was a 2018 fusion - T8 down to S1… 11 levels fused… I can say that any back surgery must only be a *last resort* … the rehabilitation was 2 yrs for my last operation and I still do hydrotherapy once a week to keep _some_ level of flexibility… will be praying for you Phil… 👋🏼👍🏼🙏🏼

I am just the opposite. I’ve had 13 surgeries, but I suffer from a pain disease to wear a little. Ouch would be for somebody is actually a severe pain to me and I would tell you, but I can never remember the name of it but it’s got like three or four initials they have for it now, but sometimes on Wendy days, the wind blowing across my skin literally makes my skin hurt, but feel praise the Lord, that you heal fast recover fast and suffer no pain. I asked us in Jesus name amen.
It’s 5:11pm. My sister had back surgery, and they made her stand up almost immediately after her surgery and she had a heart attack and was in a coma for six months. There was a lot more; she had already had a colostomy, and it never was reconnected. Why? I don’t know. Had I heard anything from anyone about what was going on I would of done everything in my power to get to the bottom of the problems. Nobody (her kids, or their wives) not one of the four boys gave a crap 💩. Just that they were tired of fooling with her and wanted to pull the plug. That didn’t work ; but that’s another truth for another day. Mr. Phil, GOD is going to be with you, and everything will be 👍. All my prayers and love too you and your family. Sincerely.
I love the honestly of all of you. Phil's story is amazing truth of how our Lord is waiting for us to come to him. Mrs Kay stood by him against all odds and people telling her to run. God knew Phil would need Kay to help him in this journey. My dad lead a horrific life. He was molested and was a molester to his own children. He killed his own brother. At 50 years old he started back in the church that he ran from. He got baptized and lived for God! Unfortunately he passed away at 53 from cancer. The amazing thing is he was never in pain. It was in his brain and the Dr said he should be in excruciating pain. I forgave him for what he did to me. My sister and brother have not but, I hope they find the strength to forgive. It will release them from so much pain.

I would give anything to have duck and dressing again. Haven't had any since I was probably in my teens when my grandmother made us Christmas dinner with ducks that her friend gave her. My daddy was a duck hunter and we always had duck and dressing and all the trimmings of our family's traditions for at least one holiday a year. My husband's not a hunter and nobody that ever promised to bring me some duck or deer meat never followed through. I have major back and other health issues, but pain is the bane of my existence. I worked in severe pain as a nurse for years. Disabled now. I just had to go to the ER night before last d/t abdominal pain r/t my GERD that was so severe that I couldn't take it and my husband took me after 3am to the ER. I don't go unless I am in extreme need to. And I got terrible treatment from the rudest attending Dr. that told me I was a waste of time. I was there and he gave me no treatment to help me and I just suffered so much. I wish I had a high pain tolerance like Phil. What a blessing that must be! I live in constant chronic pain r/t to my back and hips worn out from working hard as a nurse. I hope your back surgery went well Phil. I worked in rehab a good part of my career and didn't see very many successful back surgeries. Most people that got back surgery ended up being return patients for more and more back surgeries until they were just pitiful. Some did have good outcomes. I pray you are that person! I had a surgery to put a spacer in between my vertebrae and when he did he made me have a compound fracture and made a disk explode further down I should have suied that doctor I was in terrible pain for 4 weeks and then they had to go back in and try to fix it

If you have defected from God then read these Scriptures: (Lost Sheep, Luke 15:1-7 - Lost Coin, 15:8-10 - Lost Son, 15:11-32 - Rich Man and Lazarus, 16:19-31) Jesus is calling you back home, read His word, believe and repent. Saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone!. The world is racing toward "AMAGEDDON" !!! And people need to get right with the Lord! If you have not read the books of (Daniel chapters 7-12), (Ezekiel chapters 37-39) (Matthew chapters 24:1-51 + 25:1-30), (1 Thessalonians chapters 1-5), (2 Thessalonians chapters1-3) and (Revelation chapters 6-19), now would be a good time. They will explain a lot about what is going on right now! These books will cover the "Wars" about to come, the Rapture, World judgement, hence the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation! These books will also be the most ominous and scary for the unbelievers and the most exciting and uplifting for those who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!... It is my hope and prayer that people would repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ before all these things take place, because it is going to be very, very scary if you do not and you decide to wait and see what happens!

Phil sounds like they're going to really be able to do something for you. In 2011 I had a pretty major back injury, and after multiple MRIs and seeing the brain and spine surgeon and all that I was told that I wasn't a candidate for surgery because I have spinal stenosis decarative joint disease and degenerative disc disease and that I might as well face it I would be on medication the rest of my life. That opened up a horrible span of years dealing with horrible pain management doctors greedy pain management doctors to the point where in the end when I got off all this garbage all that garbage I was on warm heavy heavy opiates than a fourth stage cancer patient I struggled for for 3 years getting off of it. December 28th this year will Mark two complete years of taking nothing but Tylenol or Ibuprofen, pain medications are needed my friend who was a drywaller for 40 some years and had plates in his neck and other injuries has been on medication for probably 20 years even he was taken to the outer limits with it but he's managed to come back down to a low level dose he unfortunately has to have it the rest of his life. I know Phil's not a medication guy so I doubt he's going to be eating too much pain medication afterwards and he's not going to need to too much because it's going to have the surgery that will do great things surgery he's talking about it's what I wanted disc replacement but I wasn't a candidate. I lost everything in my life personal life Financial life during that time well the last 4 or 5 years of it it was destroyed my life in nearly killed me. God has ever faithful ever loving and he's opening up the doors again in my life starting over at 61 but I have my health most importantly I have my God my faith in that God and love of family. So from up here and York Pennsylvania not a real cold day today rainy the dreary but that's okay. It's 9:40 a.m. so good morning to anybody reading this. I will say in this your time right here as well that the Robertsons this podcast watching the series of Duck Dynasty videos I had got me through the 3 years of serious struggle coming off of his opiates there was times and I just didn't want to be around anymore and I would always tune in here and be lifted back up. I've had 8 back operations since 1998, they didn't offer this procedure at the time.

I refused to go under when I had my hip replacement surgery. Was wide awake.. Dr. said l was a tough S.O.B... 😆😆😆

The world is racing toward "AMAGEDDON" !!! And people need to get right with the Lord!
If you have not read the books of (Daniel chapters 7-12), (Ezekiel chapters 37-39) (Matthew chapters 24:1-51 + 25:1-30), (1 Thessalonians chapters 1-5), (2 Thessalonians chapters1-3) and (Revelation chapters 6-19), now would be a good time. They will explain a lot about what is going on right now!
These books will cover the "Wars" about to come, the Rapture, World judgement, hence the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation! These books will also be the most ominous and scary for the unbelievers and the most exciting and uplifting for those who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!...
It is my hope and prayer that people would repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ before all these things take place, because it is going to be very, very scary if you do not and you decide to wait and see what happens!
I pray Phil's back surgery goes well and he will recover soon. 🙏🙏🙏 I wonder... is this doctor in Athen Ga. or will he come to a hospital near where they live to do this surgery?

Phil sounds like they're going to really be able to do something for you. In 2011 I had a pretty major back injury, and after multiple MRIs and seeing the brain and spine surgeon and all that I was told that I wasn't a candidate for surgery because I have spinal stenosis decarative joint disease and degenerative disc disease and that I might as well face it I would be on medication the rest of my life. That opened up a horrible span of years dealing with horrible pain management doctors greedy pain management doctors to the point where in the end when I got off all this garbage all that garbage I was on warm heavy heavy opiates than a fourth stage cancer patient I struggled for for 3 years getting off of it. December 28th this year will Mark two complete years of taking nothing but Tylenol or Ibuprofen, pain medications are needed my friend who was a drywaller for 40 some years and had plates in his neck and other injuries has been on medication for probably 20 years even he was taken to the outer limits with it but he's managed to come back down to a low level dose he unfortunately has to have it the rest of his life. I know Phil's not a medication guy so I doubt he's going to be eating too much pain medication afterwards and he's not going to need to too much because it's going to have the surgery that will do great things surgery he's talking about it's what I wanted disc replacement but I wasn't a candidate. I lost everything in my life personal life Financial life during that time well the last 4 or 5 years of it it was destroyed my life in nearly killed me. God has ever faithful ever loving and he's opening up the doors again in my life starting over at 61 but I have my health most importantly I have my God my faith in that God and love of family. So from up here and York Pennsylvania not a real cold day today rainy the dreary but that's okay. It's 9:40 a.m. so good morning to anybody reading this. I will say in this your time right here as well that the Robertsons this podcast watching the series of Duck Dynasty videos I had got me through the 3 years of serious struggle coming off of his opiates there was times and I just didn't want to be around anymore and I would always tune in here and be lifted back up.
