Here the Minimum to call is Bottom Two pair or Top pair. Middle Pair Second best kicker losses to Kings, Top Pair, Two Pair, Sets, Air is crazy loose so 57d for a rivered straight is possible. Put another way Gun to your head would call with a hand that losses to all of that for 370BB or 37K. There are better spots you live to fight another day.

His time in poker is coming to an abrupt hault soon. He's lost a lot of money recently, like around 5 million with the wsop summer games, the loss to Berkey, a million dollar loss in that million dollar buy in game, 750k before all that when Rampage called him for 100k on the river with AKk and was good. Hope he doesn't get depressed and do anything stupid.

There were many missed draws, flush and straight. The big over bet on the river means he has the nuts or nothing. On top of that Airball bluffing percentage is very high. So you have to call there even though sometimes you will be wrong
Everything missed (flushes and straights), Nik either had basically AK or a pure bluff. Airball's running image is of someone who'd make this type of play with complete air. It's obviously not an easy call, but one you can make knowing the player. Don't think he'd make that call vs anyone else at the table.

i think it would be fair to put nik on ak in this situation if i was soby. he raised pre flop, overbet afterwards. if i had ak, i wouldnt want people to get a cheap ride and end up with a better hand. i'm not a great poker player, so would be happy for any constructive opinions / feedback

Why continue to bluff it off time after time? Once you have that image, standard play or even nitty play is wildly profitable
He should value bet/shove a lot thinner if his image is so poor. But he's not good enough to make the same plays for thin value so he ends up way overbluffing.
