    Hey everyone, this video has been really popular and has generated a lot of questions regarding feeds, speeds, dynamics, tools used etc. All of this information is available in a downloadable case study on our website. Go to DATRON, then Applications, then Thermoforming and click the PDF icon in the gray box on the left side of the page. You'll have to fill out a form to have the 4-page case study emailed to you.

    ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! It boggles the mind to think that, once upon a time, this kind of work had to be done manually. Excellent video!! Thanks!

    Both the M7 and M8 are currently being used by the world's top firearms manufacturer. From engraving steel 1911 slides to milling AR receivers, DATRON offers significant advantages and automated processes. For example, our 3D probing facilitates even depth of engraving on rounded long gun barrels. As for pricing it's important to note that EVERY application is unique and we custom configure each machine to meet the customer's specific needs. Call for consultation.

    vergesst 3D Drucker... Das Teil ist das "next big thing" :D
    Sehr feine CNC, würd ich mir glatt ins Arbeitszimmer stellen, wenn es preislich nicht so hart aufm Konto zuschlagen würde ;)

    It will be (was) a vacuum forming mold ? Or part of a regular core/cavity one ?

    What is the part, raw stock, clamping/vise system?

    • @DatronCNC
      @DatronCNC  10 років тому +1

      The part is a thermoforming mold for a quadrocopter (radio controlled toy). The material is aluminum. The vise is a pneumatic clamping system. More info on feeds, speeds, tools used etc. can be found in a case study which is located on our Thermoforming page within the Applications section on the DATRON website.
