- Toronto's 5th murder of 2021 is a 20-year-old, who's sisters say he was an innocent victim. Adrian Ghobrial has more from the family and police about the killing and the history of violence in the North Toronto area.
What do you get from killing someone . I cannot phathom the level of wickedness you have to have in your heart to do this. Our laws must punish these murderers, they should be in prison for as long as the victims are gone.
RIP young man. No one deserves this.
Wrong place and wrong time. Rest in peace!!
RIP MY Lil brother 💙💙💙💙
As a resident of Rochester New York, I'm very shocked about all the gun violence in Toronto. I know North York is not the safest but this is ridiculous. This is on par with Chicago and St. Louis in terms of gun violence.
Chiraq is still pretty dangerous. I was visiting and locals told me "be safe" that's mind blowing.
Chicago has had 55 homicides this year. Toronto has had 5. St Louis and Chicago are leagues ahead of Toronto when it comes to gun violence.
It's a racial problem only solved by civil war to save the white race of Canada
Shocking murderers must be stopped, arrested, and judged in the court of law. Criminals !
useless words find something better.
That's so sad .. condolences to the family this is horrific
Tragic. Society should be concentrating on the real issues. Like this, exact thing.
I grew up in the area. The residents of those apartments have been hit over and over again. It's heartbreaking every time an incident bubbles up to the news. These buildings are full of families just trying to live. How do I make a difference? I think many people feel the same way but don't know what steps to make a difference. If you know, let me know.
Nobody is safe in Toronto 😔
Why dont these apartment buildings have security cameras
Senseless killings need to stop
So in this video It's made perfectly that he and his family spent a decade in that area fearing for their safety. The fact that he lost his life because of senseless violence tells me that the family should have moved out of that area a lot sooner. At the risk of sounding ignorant my question is, how do you live in fear for so many years and not do anything about it?
They tried moving away, unfortunately Toronto is extremely expensive and they were therefore reliant on social housing which is scarce and takes a long time to obtain.
Hoping for a fresh start only to be haulted by tragedy 😢 condolences to the family and friends
They knew he was coming home and was waiting for him
So sad! RIP young man
obviously, a gang hit. Staying out of trouble, and innoncent? wrong place wrong time with an execution style hit? right, how gullible do you think we are?
its 2021 the game these gangsters play has no rules, no structure. jus a bunch of kids getting high doing things like this, this isnt the first time they have killed innocent people, u hear about them shooting where kids are caught in the crossfire, Hashim was a good kid, may he rest in peace
@@user-be9nz8tk5m this isn't a cross fire, they knew where he lived. They even had a get away car. Its planned.
Could be gang initiation
@@aRealParadise
gang initiation doesn't have get away cars prepared, and they don't wait and ambush people in their cars. It would be alot easier to pick a random guy walking than some guy in a car near a residential apartment with cameras and security.
Let's face it that guy is mixed up in gangs, no matter what the family says.
It was a case of mistaken identity this young man was well known to have no gang affiliation whatsoever that is a fact by everyone who knew him. He had no criminal record and police even stated he was innocent. Stop making assumptions
Rest in peace young man.
All these things are happening and some people talking about de-funding police. I would say if anything there should be 10 times more police on the streets with high tech devices. Half should be out of uniforms.
These are young gang members trying to prove themselves.
This is sad- it just seems off because they didn’t steal his car or rob him? They just shot him in the head? If that’s what really happened- that’s tragic
Happy Black History Month! PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW!!!
He was a Somali Arab. Not black
Blame top 5
What has he done exactly?
Saw that he was arrested yesterday in connection to this crime.
Catch this lowest of the low. Straight to jail; do not collect 200 dollars. Done.
Very sad.
" I mean.............c'mon."
rip to that man, but ppl just dont pull up on you and unload unless u got enemies, and u can make enemies for any reason nowadays ppl r on edge it could be some one you wronged in the past, ppl always do things for petty reasons, again rip to that young man. Stop the petty violence.
@Mail L
That's apart of the diversity that makes us strong though! What would we all do without all that lovely 'cultural enrichment'?? 🤣 🤣 🤣
@Mail L in this situation he died for a reason.
Top5 killed hashim hashi
Perhaps defunding the police would help these people. Oh, it's black on black...my bad.
SHAME ON THE POLICE FOR NOT MAKING OUR NEIGHBORHOODS SAFER!!!
The police is a part of the this killings don’t let them fool you
Oh yeah, the police are to blame. No doubt: Not a community that won't talk to the "PO PO" and wants to "Defund The Police". Where is BLM now? These killers didn't run home to police families to hide. They went back to their "Community" (AND NOW THEY HAVE "STREET CRED!). Killers know that the "Community" won't tell the cops who has the guns, who is dealing, who killed this young man. Wake up and smell the coffee: The police are there to enforce the law, and they do. This cannot be done without community support. So, people like yourself can mouth off about the cops all day long, but until you stand up in your own community and join the families in demanding people come forward with informationm, then you may as well have pulled the trigger yourself.
Just once could you stop listening to the politicos and look at the reality of the situation. "THE COMMUNITY" needs to stop blaming everyone else and undergo a major mind-reset.
@@abmusse476 You are so out of touch with reality. Has anything in your life ever happen that you actually took responsibility for?
What a senseless and conceited act🙄 I can understand if it was a gang affiliated person but this was good hardworking man who was just trying to better his life. This is scary because at this point, it can be anyone at anytime considering he didn’t even know these monsters. This is a random act of killing probably gang initiation or street gang rivals. Too bad that these monsters who r a menace to society won’t get the death penalty(cause Canada believes too much in rehabilitation)or life without parole. There are just some horrendous people in our world who don’t deserve a second chance🤮. I can’t imagine what the family is going through. I pray they get needed justice that they deserve and that the killers never know peace in their life. Rest in power Hashim🙏🏽
Rip
Hi prayer for family. But we all can see how crime has gone up .all we hear is talk about only covid_19 in news.i do not see police on roads.
Are leaders have failed big time.
He was a criminal.... sorry
He wasnt involved in nothing....
@Jc Denton you clearly dont know how toronto feuds and street politics work....
He had no criminal record. He was not a criminal.
Rip
He got hit for a reason.
Your mom too... she got that water paste
@@modmaliCrtzGang but at least I'm alive stills
He transported drugs in Rexdale
Send in the horses!
Oh that's only for business opening up.
I had to scroll pretty far down to find someone making this about their view on Covid.
I'm pretty impressed.
@@urseye0 Covid? No...big crime happening so let's see the police force. There was 100 cops arresting protesters so I'm sure they're looking for something else to do the other 6 days of the week.
He was so Handsome ,RIP.
I almost died here from a shooting in 2014 so this is crazy to know
What a socialist community
