This is people that love making music and Jim, as he's prone to do, picked a great tune to share.
The arrangement, the harmony, the solos - it all came together. Look at the happy faces at the end - they nailed it, and they knew it. Yes!
Love it !
Jim Lauderdale! One of the most underraated musicians in existence. He has played with everyone. EVERYONE.
@Jim Lauderdale: You're one of my favorite musicians but it took me until the Covid years to learn your name. Your video with The Mavericks, one of the best bands in America, gets revisited often. Happy Thanksgiving, Jim.
Followed you since 2012 on UA-cam; never disappoint me sir! Love from Holland
I can never get enough of this song!
Found a Jim Lauderdale CD at the Goodwill Store. Never heard of him before, but it was a good $.99 spent I think! Hard to believe I’ve never heard of him esp after digging up all this stuff on YT.
Thank you so much!!!! Amazing rendition! The acoustic guitar and Blues harp break was absolutely amazing for me! Bravo!!!
Hi
No too old for concerts but I watch a lot on you tube. I’m a fella that grew up with the 60’s so I gravitate to those songs. Thanks for replying
My friend @Warren Eustace, who sends me many great videos of different artists sent me this video of y'all doin' "You Ain't Goin' Nowhere", a song I bought in 1968 by the Byrds. At that time I didn't know it was a Bob Dylan song. I really like this version of yours a lot. Nicely done. Cheers! 🙏🎶🎸🎤
Love his smile,his music
One of my all time favorite songs. Yet I had forgotten about. Resonated in my teens in the early 70’s & still does today ❤
WOW !!
Bob Dylan wrote so many great songs.
THEN
So many persons, groups covered them to make the entire world proud ...
Nailed it 😅
One of my favorite songs...in the world.

YOU ALL SOUND SO GOOD THGETHER
One of the best renditions
I might be late in response but I would love to thank you for loving my music ambitions. . Have you had the opportunity to attend any of my concerts before?
Great cover of this song!
I'd like The Waifs to play more cowboy music. They do country well. How Many Miles is proof.
I was working Hardly Strictly Bluegrass about 8-10 years ago @ Banjo Stage on a Friday. Lauderdale's performance was great- Hey, it's really good when you can listen to fine music and get paid for it.
Brilliant I love Jim so much. Gonna check out this cool band man. This was a fun listen, and made me pick up my guitar and pack up my tent!! OOOOOOOOHWEEEEE
Great to hear and see a woman playing harp, and singing tastefull
Watch The Waifs perform Crazy Train. That girl knows how to play a harp.
You all are awesome, I love watching the whole process and the end result is amazing, great song! 🤠💜💜💜
I like...very much!
Love this❤
Superb! I am about as far from a music expert as one can get, but dare I say it to my ears this was by far the best cover and maybe best version [period].
This is amazing! I'm a huge fan of Lauderdale's, and now the Waif's as well
Favourite Waifs songs - How Many Miles, Crazy Train, Bridal Train.

first comment: great song, love your laid back version - is there any other way to go? :)
Didn't that fellow have a preacher's part in the Pistol Annies video "Hush, Hush?
Dylan, #1 . Am I right people .
Who's playing the fabulous steel guitar?
I don't know. There is no steel guitar player listed as a current, auxiliary or former auxiliary member on their wikipedia page or official band webpage. Maybe he came with Jim Lauderdale.
Billywolf says awesome
Cool. I like this version. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band I guess was the first version I heard (live), before knew it was a Dillon song.
@Jim Lauderdale Sure Jim that’d be fine. I play this song once in a blue moon myself, drop a line any time.
So I hadn’t heard your name before (hard to believe) looked it up after watching the Americana music tribute y’all playing “the weight”
The Byrd's did it first. I think Dylan gave it to them
@@eddielong717 Oh, didn’t know that. Thanks for the info
