Good evening Fancie, that is a coffee city I would say! 8,000 coffee shops. Wow, it sounds like the people who live there. Truly spend the money on that cup of caffeine. I only drink decaffeinated coffee. But I go for my favorite tea over coffee. Here in Wichita, a town of 400 hundred thousand people. We do have 2000 food places. And we are starting to get a lot more coffee shops too. So, I can see the size of the city in China having so many per person to choose from. I did enjoy how you rated those spots. You did look so beautiful in your white dress, along with your other outfits. I like how you gear your videos more on the places in the city. Less on showing you the most as other people concentrate on themselves. That is what makes yours special and exciting. Thank you for sharing what excites you about living there. Have a blessed and safe week at work.
Omg . This is exactly what I needed. I loveeeeee coffee . You read my mind Fancie . I was planning on going to Starbucks for sure. Manner @ century park looks beautiful. I’d love to buy you a cup of coffee when I’m there . Thanks for the info 👏🏻👏🏻
A touching video... coffee, pastries, and with the classiest host of Shanghai. Last month, I had read that coffee was the #2 traded item behind oil. Enjoy every sip with a delightful pastry.
Truthfully, parks within China are totally remarkable! China remains #1 with their insights of satisfaction of the Chinese citizens utilizing parks throughout their borders. If you haven't visited a park lately... it should be #1 on your bucket list! Mindsets will always realign, while making your lifestyle amazing! This is one of my most appreciated items that I have found! I ❤️ China! Enjoy a stroll in a park today.
Hi Fancie! I remember if you bring your own cup to Manner coffee, you can have 5 Yuan reduction. No idea why this city is so addicted to coffee. I have coffee machine for free coffee in my office and also coffee machine in my home 🙂. The most expensive coffee I got is Kopi luwak, almost 300 Yuan one cup. I recommend you to try the americano in Costa. It's unique on the sore taste...
Despite thousands of competing coffee shops in Shanghai, a cup of coffee is not cheap. Also noticed you go for the ice or more trendy coffee drinks instead of the humble latte or cappuccino 😁 Personally I find Starbucks coffee lacks real coffee taste but know they are quite popular in HK too - guessing it's more trendy to hang out at Starbucks than enjoy their coffee 🤣 I shall give Manner coffee a try when in HK later this year.
Yes, I always go for either mocha or latte. But I think I should start drinking americano now since they are less fat 😊 I totally agree with you about Starbucks coffee taste, I feel like I’m buying experience rather than coffee ☕️ cheers!
@@funfancie thank you dear, you are very welcome in Russia. Please could you recommend nice place for xiao long bao? I’ve been to din tai fung in financial center, this time I want where local eats 😂🤍
Hi Paul, welcome to Shanghai! If I would recommend one coffee shop that you should not miss here is Starbucks Reserve Roastery in West Nanjing Road. It's huge and such an eye opening experience for me :)
Enjoy Shanghai Coffee Fancie! Shanghai home to nearly 8,000 cafés, the Chinese metropolis has the most coffee shops of any city, beating even New York, Tokyo and London
Used to be a little shocked that americano and coffee latte are ususally the same price in Bangkok. Guess you might also be a little shocked that coffee latte is usually more pricey than americano in Shanghai the other way round, lol.
That's true Pepe! You know what when go to Tims coffee I always order americano and ask them to put 3 pumps of milk and syrup. There you go ~ a similar stirred latte haha :)
You can drink some really good coffee in Shanghai. Manner does make great drinks for reasonable prices. I agree it’s the best coffee for the price. Definitely a 5 stars. It’s much better than the overrated starcraps!
Hi Peter, I'm not so sure about the proper cup actually :) Your question really makes me think back about it haha. But so far I haven't been served with the proper cup anywhere ~

Can I ask what vpn is working in China right now?
I would recommend bullvpn
Hi Francie, what camera did you use?☺️
HI Nadine, I'm using iPhone 14 Pro in this video :)

Where exactly is the Manner Coffee?
There are many Manner coffee all over Shanghai, but if you would like to visit the branch in the video it’s located in Century Park 😊
it is a coffee shop that purposely and only uses coffee beans from China, specifically in Yunnan.
Hi, Fancie, nice videos!! I recommend you to travel to YunNan Province, it's the most beautiful place in China!
Thank you! I really want to start traveling around China more and Yunnan is now on my list! :)

Coffee are so expensive in China, although there must be cheaper places that you can go. One question: Do they not serve coffee in proper cups?
Hi Peter, I'm not so sure about the proper cup actually :) Your question really makes me think back about it haha. But so far I haven't been served with the proper cup anywhere ~
Hi from Mexico.
Good morning from Shanghai Ivone ☀️ welcome to the channel
Have u try (M)3 coffee? Please share also if u tried
it seems like we live nearby ,cause i bought peets there everyweek

I can't think of a reason why coffee are so expensive in China, particularly foreign chains; it's a rip off!
They are expensive indeed!
