joshi ji made me sit on his seat next to him .. spent some10-15 minutes treating me .. and he didn't charge me anything .. my liking his dahi vada and bhutte ka kish was his payment. he also made me eat some 3-4 gulab jamuns in name of what not. unparalleled vegetarian street food .. best in the world .. not just the food is great but the people are fantastic.
3 in the morning and my mouth has started watering. This video reminds me of so many things bake samosa, aloo key kachori, jail road ka sandwich, roadside omelette, eating poha at rajwada in middle of night and of course the iconic sarafa as mentioned here. The list is endless, home made daal bati, dhaba on highway, sev on everything, jalebi for breakfast, kachori-samosa for evening snacks typical thali food for dinner. Oh man when will I go back to all this. Country roads take me home....
