  • In part two of our Engineered Face Frame project we go through cutting and assembling the remainder of the cabinetry. We use the ShopSabre IS Series Router with VCarve PRO Software.

    Great set of videos on this process. I coincidentally just finished a whole kitchen with this same process of a one piece frame with inset MDF doors on my is408. I love the additional toolpath of the ball end bit for inside corners; as I just squared up with a chisel.

      @@garenpletzer1532 its basically the same machine, minus rotary ATC and a heavier frame. The servos are a bit faster and have more steps than the IS series.

      It’s very similar machine just with the Mitsubishi M series controller, heavier frame, and a bi directional rotation rotary atc

      There would be no difference in the process between the Pro, IS, or ISM Series … the are all members of the “Machine Tool Grade CNCs” at ShopSabre (Ballscrews).
