Thanku from my 💓 to you to show me your farm..big fan of yours..may god bless you..I m from india..ur country is so beautiful..want to visit some day in future in ur farm and take experience from u sir.
Late sown spring barley - (Not whole crop variety) in early May and grass seed drilled in at the same time.Gave some cattle a bale this evening and they seem to prefer it to clamp grass silage.
@@holsteincowboy intresting to know many thanks for the Comments . Our Spring Barley about a week of harvest . Did you get good crops of silage up that North side this time?
@@georgerome Plenty of silage but weather in June was unsettled so quality will not be the best.Got a field of barley to combine but will not be ready for a while yet
A bit late to ask, do you have any regrets about leaving dairy farming, i think it was a brave decision to make. Cows twice a day, 365 days is an awful Lifestyle choice. Weather woes just makes it even harder to make plans for the summer. Good luck anyway!
No regrets.Milked cows for 42 years. Now i can go on holiday and not have to worry about finding a relief milker.Weather seems to be getting worse here - This is the 2nd year in a row that cattle have been brought inside in August because of saturated fields. Thanks for your comment
