ive been binge watching a bunch of architecture-career type videos like these today and this video really helped a lot. an older teacher of mine used to tell me that to him, working as a teacher wasn't a job because it's what he loved. i hope architecture can be like that for me in the future.

i always loved playing legos, making my own buildings, playing sims 4 building houses, games that require building always came natural to me, i am doing visual arts at school and i would say my spatial intelligence is very. good, but numbers and physics are just the death of me, thats the only thing thats holding me back honestly.
im the opposite lol. the only thing ive ever cared abt in games (minecraft, sims, terraria, etc) has been building. i care a lot abt aesthetics lol. i considered doing mechanical engineering for a long time, until i realized i really dont care mych for waves&optics in comparison to mechanics/dynamics. the only thing that worries me is that my spatial awareness is really bad.
I’ve been struggling all throughout my education to find a career path where I could thrive. Even my core interests didn’t feel right as a pursuit. I never pictured myself doing architecture, but now that I’ve looked into it and seen what it has to offer, I finally feel some peace. Thanks for this video.
I am currently studying architecture in high school, and I love it so much. I believe that I have a God gifted ability to use creativity to impact the environment around me. More specifically, I want to go into residential architecture. I believe that getting to see my creative abilities and other design gifts to help others enjoy their quality of life even more is just so inviting. Residential architecture is not special to me because of the money, or self-benefits, but rather to help others and become someone who is able to bless people with a structure that they build a family in, or retire and enjoy time in that area. Hey guys let me tell you my short story😁 About 3 years ago ,i lost my confidence for some reasons ang gave up on my dream job (i meant becoming a civil engineer or architect ) then started working at some local stores. But i always felt like" im wasting my precious time" and still have passion about designing and constructing houses or buildings. You don't need to get a full time job, even just spending a day inside a practice to see how things are done. Buy an architect lunch and chat for 15 minutes to pick their brain etc. I also think reading is a big one that many people forget about. Not only reading, but also online courses and videos on UA-cam etc. All very underestimated and can boost your skills very further ahead than your peers. Hope that helps :)

My reason for wanting to go for architecture is that I've always been into buildings:from an early age I've really been into lego blocks, and from my own imagination I was building ships, with different shapes and structures, because I was also into ocean liners and I still am. Second of all, drawing gets me. When I draw, I try to give my best and feel like I'm doing something that I love. Maybe a third reason is that I'm a person that loves planning. AND DAMN HOUSES. Especially old ones, I like analyzing them, thinking what could go better and how would I do it. But still, I'm not that sure that archi is the way, but hopefully I will set my mind and go for what will make me happy.

Yes I really really want to but unfortunately, living in poverty, my parents don't want me to take the course because of the financial problem, they say anything except architecture. I really really want to take the course, it's depressing but that's life.
Thank you for this. I wanted to do architecture because I’ve thought about it since I was in 2nd grade. From time to time I’ve had an idea of changing and trying out different courses but I always came back to architecture. I kept thinking of going a different career path where my yearly wage can be above 100,000 like a CS engineer, dentist, etc. My family’s supportive, but from time to time I hear something like “being a computer science engineer pays well in comparison to let’s say architecture” from my relatives while they look at me. Then I say that I don’t mind if I don’t make as much money, but then they go “oh you WILL once your dad stops paying for your insurance, bills, and all that.” So I got anxious once again and kept thinking if I should really get into architecture. A lot of the videos I found on yt were all quite discouraging saying stuff like “architecture school gave me insomnia.” However, this ended on a good note and kind of encouraged me once again that I want to keep going with this. I’m gonna have to keep myself in a room with a pen and paper one day and think deeply about these questions.
If you enjoy what you do you'll find a way to make money doing it. If you go into something for the money, it's very difficult to find the passion to do it. Obviously one method is more sustainable than the other! Don't be too hard on yourself though. Whatever you choose to do, you'll find what you love about it and can go from there.
My high school is a trade school, and architecture has been one of the things to select from! I did choose architecture after a bit of research and I think this solidified my answer in being an architect! We are doing projects this year, so I'm excited to see how that works out and see if I do like drafting and making my own projects! Thank you for the video

I was just starting my last year of high school and I knew I had to prepare for very tough exams if I chose to study this major in uni. I had never drawn much and I was way behind in math. Then I came across this video (them looked at you other content) and it was truly a turning point! I felt confident in my decision and stuck through with it and today I just had my first day at the best Architecture university in my country! i fell out of love with architecture few years ago and fell in love with architecture again. I can feel the difference because i'm excited to learn more about architecture and i think it's the only passion i have right now and forever. I like the idea of designing buildings and team work and i love the process of model making. I'm going to back to university to pursue architecture!. Great video kyle!

Why am I considering architecture as a career? I'm currently studying Interior Architecture. The idea of designing rich people's interiors and million dollar restaurants freaks me out. Even working for 'sustainable' interior firms, there still just designing for ultra rich sustainably minded people. I need to be giving back and helping in someway. I want to be working on social housing and community projects. I'm worried that with my current degree/career path, that won't be nearly as possible as it would be if I were to pursue architecture. What do I think architecture entails? I know it's going to be a lot more technical then my current course. I know there will be a massive chunk of years in my life where my creative freedom is 0%. I imagine I will be way more out of my depth then if I stuck to interiors, but I think I would be excited for the challenge. Am I creative? I would literally die without my imagination. I love problem solving. I love creativity. I am a people person. I am very good at all of the above. I'm great at drawing and have a strong understanding of the software I'll need. But: I'm not confident with maths. I am more then happy to get tutoring for it. I love the idea of becoming confident. I would do it. Could I sustain enormous amounts of effort for the next 50 years? I'm 30 years old so I won't be going until I'm 80 years old haha. But yes. What do you think??

Plus i love building and creating things so i thought maybe i should try architecture since it was the only career that stuck out to me. If i were to visualize myself doing architect i can see myself cursing at past me for choosing this course but yet enjoy it all at the same time. I can see myself communicating with my workers, discussing about what plans would be necessary and the joy id feel once the project was finished. in terms of creativity, i think im not that creative but i do have the mindset. I like solving problems, i find problem solving fun and enjoyable but im not good at it. im a very people person and love talking to people. so im confident i would do fine in socializing. I cant say for sure i would be willing to put 110 amount of effort into architecture but i can say as of current i find the prospect of architecture more interesting than other courses. Right now the only thing is holding me back from choosing architecture is the fact that im not good at drawing, technology related things and organization.

After around 20yrs I’m enrolled in an Architecture course and at 40yrs old I feel like I might get to start what I want to be doing for me. Doing a bachelor of science/ business at the moment. 1 year in and it's not what I though it would be, and I've discovered how dry and uncreative these topics can be. I've always loved history and sustainable building, it seems like architecture would be a better route for me to go down.

Hey DJ. Thank you so much for the kind words! The answer definitely isn't the same as to when I first started. I was talking to an interior designer with 20 years experience the other week and she said something like "along the way, you try new things and discover new scopes to the profession that suit your character - things that you never realised you'd enjoy before." Through the journey, you discover parts to the profession that tailor to your personality that you never realised existed before. Keep doing those things. Originally, it was something that my brother talked me into. I had no idea what "architecture" actually was. That understanding grew over time and the more I learnt about what it is, the more that passion grew. I hope that helps somewhat
I'm a draftsman for over 3 years now. Just when I thought I knew enough about Architecture, but Boy oh boy am I wrong. Drafting and designing is a whole different thing.
Also, I would like to further add that I am doing my best that I can do but I feel like I am losing the spark in myself for which I came to an arts school. I don't know what is right for me.

I like the sound of it; problem solving, design, being creative, actually making stuff (instead of just learning the theories), going outside of my comfort zone (im an introvert), observing and learning how things work and why things are made the way they are. But I cant help but to feel uncertain. I dont have a strong desire to become an architect. Are all architecture students aiming to become an architect? Try to seek help if you can, otherwise I've found reading "self help" books tremendously impactful. Once you do find what you love doing, which you will eventually, it will consume your time and take your mind off depression by giving you something else to do. It gets better Katie, good luck!
Hey, great video. I made a sugar cube castle as a kid and I was completely absorbed in it. More than any other project I have ever done in school. That is why I want to be an architect, I feel like I will be in my zone for the rest of my life, and I am so excited to meet other architects.

There’s no hurt in giving it a try, often passion grows over time. But also, follow your heart and don’t do something you’re not keen on :p despite what family may say, it’s your choice
You talk about "giving your 110 percent near the end of the video" - but what if I complete an Architectural Degree but end up not getting the dream job I want - all that "hard-work", "time" and "effort" to study something you love - but end up getting rejected for your job, so in this manner looking up for job-security, gathering background facts about Architecture (in the future) is good, for example ["Is it a secure job", "How are the job-opportunities for Architecture", "Will I ever get a Job within 3 years after graduation"?] These questions should most definitely be considered when studying a career. Also, a little help - I like Architecture because of the "creativity-element", "Analysing Materials/Structures" but I am also good at practical subjects as well [ maths, physics] - so is there any job that has a blend in both of these fields. If you do happen to know any, I would be greatly appreciated with your comment.
Have been an architectural designer for 7 years. Wish I had this video in high school. It only gets harder and with more responsibility as the years go on. Great advice from Kyle overall… especially that you should double down on something you’re interested in and you’ll find a way to make it (wish I had that advice back in high school). I chose architecture because I was into fine art but I was afraid of being a starving artist (why I convinced myself of this I don’t really know). I didn’t know much about architecture at the time but it seemed to mix being creative while also being a practical career. In retrospect I don’t think it a good enough reason not to go into art school. My advice is, go for it if you have a passion for architecture. Think twice if you don’t - you can always enter the field later on if you change your mind.

You don't have to be a people person, but you do have to have the ability to empathize... to be able to put yourself in someone else's shoes. This is probably more important than creative skills. If you can do that, you'll do fine.
I was rejected from art school a year ago and it did impacted me because that's what I was good at. Im currently In my 2 semester of college and I want to be an architect, I been obsessed looking at buildings, drawing sketches, and playing the sims lmao. Im working on my math skills, now that I been practicing Im getting good at it.
Im a junior in highschool and my art teacher told me to get into physics if i want to get into architecture but im not good at it so i dont know if i'd get into university, people in my class are dropping physics because they're getting 50's and 60's 😭😭
The idea of being Architect is intriguing, but doing the actual work gives me anxiety. I am somewhat good at drawing but I lack the creativity. I am ok in math but I hate doing it. I am afraid of doing some kind of big project where I need to calculate complex building support ratios. I guess I need to find something else.
Not sure who said it, but the best Architect description ive ever heard was.... "Architects are just Engineers, who cant do Math" As a structural engineer for over 35 years, i can tell you without any hesitation that if Architecture is a career you want, have at it, but dont let the math part stop you, its pretty basic stuff in an Architecture program.

I guess i am a people person because to get big u need to know how to hit the right spots when talking to someone.
I thought architecture was different. Don't get me wrong, the design process seems great but it takes too much time and I just won't work well with a team. I wish I could find a job that was like architecture but I really could do anything. Overall I don't think it's for me and that's okay, I have time.

Yes, I think creative skills can and will be learnt over the course of your degree. If you have a passion for it, you'll find your capabilities will come as a result.
I really want to study architecture because I wanted to be an architect when I was a child, most of my dreams have been about exploring houses since I was a child (they all had very interesting architectures) and I loved (still do) walking in towns and cities just to admire different houses. However, I hear a lot that architecture requires the most work (and that students rarely sleep)… I’m not the type of person who is willing to work all night, I love sleeping too much 😅 Architecture still seems so interesting but the amount of work isn’t for me. I’m also very bad at presentations and communicating with people, and I struggle with being creative (I can’t make something new or interesting, though sometimes I am good at problem-solving). The good thing is that I’m good at both math and art. Should I still try one year in architecture school? Or are there any other options for what I’m interested in?

I've always been a straight A student and i always loved studying, but now in my junior year i got tired. I don't like the fact that i only know books, I want to be a bit more practical. I thought about studying law, but now I really want a more creative and flexible job. I love History of Art and painting. That's my favorite subject in school, but I could never study it because I do need a job that'll bring me some money... I always loved old buildings and decorating my room. I would spend hours building Barbie's houses or planing my future room. Should i study architecture?

Hi James, that's exciting! My advice is to be like a sponge. Pretend you know nothing and try and soak up as much information as you can. Ask lots of questions, show up to every class (on time or earlier), be attentive and most of all have fun!

i always loved playing legos, making my own buildings, playing sims 4 building houses, games that require building always came natural to me, i am doing visual arts at school and i would say my spatial intelligence is very. good, but numbers and physics are just the death of me, thats the only thing thats holding me back honestly.

im the opposite lol. the only thing ive ever cared abt in games (minecraft, sims, terraria, etc) has been building. i care a lot abt aesthetics lol. i considered doing mechanical engineering for a long time, until i realized i really dont care mych for waves&optics in comparison to mechanics/dynamics. the only thing that worries me is that my spatial awareness is really bad.

I’ve been struggling all throughout my education to find a career path where I could thrive. Even my core interests didn’t feel right as a pursuit. I never pictured myself doing architecture, but now that I’ve looked into it and seen what it has to offer, I finally feel some peace. Thanks for this video.

I am currently studying architecture in high school, and I love it so much. I believe that I have a God gifted ability to use creativity to impact the environment around me. More specifically, I want to go into residential architecture. I believe that getting to see my creative abilities and other design gifts to help others enjoy their quality of life even more is just so inviting. Residential architecture is not special to me because of the money, or self-benefits, but rather to help others and become someone who is able to bless people with a structure that they build a family in, or retire and enjoy time in that area. I would recommend exploring architecture to anyone interested. Have a great day everyone!

About 3 years ago ,i lost my confidence for some reasons ang gave up on my dream job (i meant becoming a civil engineer or architect ) then started working at some local stores. But i always felt like" im wasting my precious time" and still have passion about designing and constructing houses or buildings. Then a couple weeks ago i realized that i had to follow my heart 😔.And i loved the idea of being an architect: imaging unique houses, etc. Sorry for grammer mistakes

I wish I had gotten some experience inside a practice before starting my education. Perhaps while still in high school.
You don't need to get a full time job, even just spending a day inside a practice to see how things are done. Buy an architect lunch and chat for 15 minutes to pick their brain etc.
I also think reading is a big one that many people forget about. Not only reading, but also online courses and videos on UA-cam etc. All very underestimated and can boost your skills very further ahead than your peers.

My reason for wanting to go for architecture is that I've always been into buildings:from an early age I've really been into lego blocks, and from my own imagination I was building ships, with different shapes and structures, because I was also into ocean liners and I still am. Second of all, drawing gets me. When I draw, I try to give my best and feel like I'm doing something that I love. Maybe a third reason is that I'm a person that loves planning. AND DAMN HOUSES. Especially old ones, I like analyzing them, thinking what could go better and how would I do it. But still, I'm not that sure that archi is the way, but hopefully I will set my mind and go for what will make me happy.

I wanted to do architecture because I’ve thought about it since I was in 2nd grade. From time to time I’ve had an idea of changing and trying out different courses but I always came back to architecture. I kept thinking of going a different career path where my yearly wage can be above 100,000 like a CS engineer, dentist, etc. My family’s supportive, but from time to time I hear something like “being a computer science engineer pays well in comparison to let’s say architecture” from my relatives while they look at me. Then I say that I don’t mind if I don’t make as much money, but then they go “oh you WILL once your dad stops paying for your insurance, bills, and all that.” So I got anxious once again and kept thinking if I should really get into architecture. A lot of the videos I found on yt were all quite discouraging saying stuff like “architecture school gave me insomnia.”
However, this ended on a good note and kind of encouraged me once again that I want to keep going with this. I’m gonna have to keep myself in a room with a pen and paper one day and think deeply about these questions.
If you enjoy what you do you'll find a way to make money doing it. If you go into something for the money, it's very difficult to find the passion to do it. Obviously one method is more sustainable than the other! Don't be too hard on yourself though. Whatever you choose to do, you'll find what you love about it and can go from there.
My high school is a trade school, and architecture has been one of the things to select from! I did choose architecture after a bit of research and I think this solidified my answer in being an architect! We are doing projects this year, so I'm excited to see how that works out and see if I do like drafting and making my own projects! Thank you for the video

I was just starting my last year of high school and I knew I had to prepare for very tough exams if I chose to study this major in uni. I had never drawn much and I was way behind in math. Then I came across this video (them looked at you other content) and it was truly a turning point! I felt confident in my decision and stuck through with it and today I just had my first day at the best Architecture university in my country! I’ve wanted to be an architect since I was 7. I went to college for 5 years and never got a degree just because my parents said I needed to go to college. I am now following my dreams of building my own home and making my mark on the world
i fell out of love with architecture few years ago and fell in love with architecture again. I can feel the difference because i'm excited to learn more about architecture and i think it's the only passion i have right now and forever. Why am I considering architecture as a career?
I'm currently studying Interior Architecture. The idea of designing rich people's interiors and million dollar restaurants freaks me out. Even working for 'sustainable' interior firms, there still just designing for ultra rich sustainably minded people. I need to be giving back and helping in someway. I want to be working on social housing and community projects. I'm worried that with my current degree/career path, that won't be nearly as possible as it would be if I were to pursue architecture.
What do I think architecture entails?
I know it's going to be a lot more technical then my current course. I know there will be a massive chunk of years in my life where my creative freedom is 0%. I imagine I will be way more out of my depth then if I stuck to interiors, but I think I would be excited for the challenge.
Am I creative?
I would literally die without my imagination. I love problem solving. I love creativity. I am a people person. I am very good at all of the above. I'm great at drawing and have a strong understanding of the software I'll need.
But: I'm not confident with maths. I am more then happy to get tutoring for it. I love the idea of becoming confident. I would do it.
Could I sustain enormous amounts of effort for the next 50 years?
I'm 30 years old so I won't be going until I'm 80 years old haha. But yes.

my reason for going to architecture is that i noticed as a kid, i loved building houses out of paper and i had a suprising talent for it. Plus i love building and creating things so i thought maybe i should try architecture since it was the only career that stuck out to me.
If i were to visualize myself doing architect i can see myself cursing at past me for choosing this course but yet enjoy it all at the same time. I can see myself communicating with my workers, discussing about what plans would be necessary and the joy id feel once the project was finished.
in terms of creativity, i think im not that creative but i do have the mindset. I like solving problems, i find problem solving fun and enjoyable but im not good at it.
im a very people person and love talking to people. so im confident i would do fine in socializing.
I cant say for sure i would be willing to put 110 amount of effort into architecture but i can say as of current i find the prospect of architecture more interesting than other courses.
Right now the only thing is holding me back from choosing architecture is the fact that im not good at drawing, technology related things and organization.
these questions of "why" have been so eye opening for me this video helped me really collect all of my thoughts on architecture. great video!

The truth is i never had any plans for architecture, but i had always wanted to study a course that is a mix of art and science. Architecture stuck out to me and i want to give it a try
I’ve had a very successful career in health, but been miserable the whole time. It’s what I thought I should do, which was impacted by others.
After around 20yrs I’m enrolled in an Architecture course and at 40yrs old I feel like I might get to start what I want to be doing for me. I really don’t know what will come from it, but it honestly really feels like the right thing for me.

Doing a bachelor of science/ business at the moment. 1 year in and it's not what I though it would be, and I've discovered how dry and uncreative these topics can be. I've always loved history and sustainable building, it seems like architecture would be a better route for me to go down.

The answer definitely isn't the same as to when I first started. I was talking to an interior designer with 20 years experience the other week and she said something like "along the way, you try new things and discover new scopes to the profession that suit your character - things that you never realised you'd enjoy before."
Through the journey, you discover parts to the profession that tailor to your personality that you never realised existed before. Keep doing those things.
Originally, it was something that my brother talked me into. I had no idea what "architecture" actually was. That understanding grew over time and the more I learnt about what it is, the more that passion grew.

Most universities do "come and try" days I recommend checking out. Otherwise, getting experience in a firm for a day or two could be insightful
I'm a draftsman for over 3 years now. Just when I thought I knew enough about Architecture, but Boy oh boy am I wrong. Drafting and designing is a whole different thing.
Also, I would like to further add that I am doing my best that I can do but I feel like I am losing the spark in myself for which I came to an arts school. I don't know what is right for me.

I'm thinking of studying architecture but I'm not sure if I'll like it. I like the sound of it; problem solving, design, being creative, actually making stuff (instead of just learning the theories), going outside of my comfort zone (im an introvert), observing and learning how things work and why things are made the way they are.
But I cant help but to feel uncertain. I dont have a strong desire to become an architect. Are all architecture students aiming to become an architect? Is it uncommon for a student to aim for something else?

Try to seek help if you can, otherwise I've found reading "self help" books tremendously impactful. Once you do find what you love doing, which you will eventually, it will consume your time and take your mind off depression by giving you something else to do. It gets better Katie, good luck!

My family want me to study architecture... I’m just watching to convince myself I’m not gonna be a complete failure doing it but I see that I will be. I have no passion for it
There’s no hurt in giving it a try, often passion grows over time. But also, follow your heart and don’t do something you’re not keen on :p despite what family may say, it’s your choice
You talk about "giving your 110 percent near the end of the video" - but what if I complete an Architectural Degree but end up not getting the dream job I want - all that "hard-work", "time" and "effort" to study something you love - but end up getting rejected for your job, so in this manner looking up for job-security, gathering background facts about Architecture (in the future) is good, for example ["Is it a secure job", "How are the job-opportunities for Architecture", "Will I ever get a Job within 3 years after graduation"?]
These questions should most definitely be considered when studying a career.
Also, a little help - I like Architecture because of the "creativity-element", "Analysing Materials/Structures" but I am also good at practical subjects as well [ maths, physics] - so is there any job that has a blend in both of these fields.

Have been an architectural designer for 7 years. Wish I had this video in high school. It only gets harder and with more responsibility as the years go on. Great advice from Kyle overall… especially that you should double down on something you’re interested in and you’ll find a way to make it (wish I had that advice back in high school). I chose architecture because I was into fine art but I was afraid of being a starving artist (why I convinced myself of this I don’t really know). I didn’t know much about architecture at the time but it seemed to mix being creative while also being a practical career. In retrospect I don’t think it a good enough reason not to go into art school. My advice is, go for it if you have a passion for architecture. Think twice if you don’t - you can always enter the field later on if you change your mind.

You don't have to be a people person, but you do have to have the ability to empathize... to be able to put yourself in someone else's shoes. This is probably more important than creative skills. If you can do that, you'll do fine.
I was rejected from art school a year ago and it did impacted me because that's what I was good at. Im currently In my 2 semester of college and I want to be an architect, I been obsessed looking at buildings, drawing sketches, and playing the sims lmao. Im working on my math skills, now that I been practicing Im getting good at it.
Maybe the way to find out if it's the right choice for you, is to begin as a drafter (draftsman). That's the way many of my colleagues started out.

Im a junior in highschool and my art teacher told me to get into physics if i want to get into architecture but im not good at it so i dont know if i'd get into university, people in my class are dropping physics because they're getting 50's and 60's 😭😭

Best to get into construction or property development earlier on, make more money then return to architecture as a retirement gig
The idea of being Architect is intriguing, but doing the actual work gives me anxiety. I am somewhat good at drawing but I lack the creativity. I am ok in math but I hate doing it. I am afraid of doing some kind of big project where I need to calculate complex building support ratios. I guess I need to find something else.
Not sure who said it, but the best Architect description ive ever heard was....
"Architects are just Engineers, who cant do Math"
As a structural engineer for over 35 years, i can tell you without any hesitation that if Architecture is a career you want, have at it, but dont let the math part stop you, its pretty basic stuff in an Architecture program.
I am 16 and choosing for my majors.I like creating designs and watch that my ideas become in shape in real world.For your questions my answers are 1.I CONSIDER AS I THINK IT IS INTERESTING AND I LIKE MAKING DESIGN,2.I SEE MYSELF VISTING HOTELS AND RESORS CHECKING MY DESIGNS AND WORKS 3.YEA I WILL BE ENTUSIASTIC FOR MAKING SKETCH AND DESIGNS.I hate maths, bad at it and not good at drawing but i am creative i think.I will be enthusiastic to work on my model or design when i wake up.I also enjoy working hard .But one reason is that my marks in final exam is not good and according to our country's system i will not get in to the best uni for architecture but i still get in other architecture universitites, with my marks .but That university is so far and the place is bad.If i choose it i have to go there for 6 years everyday.Should I major in it or not?@Successful Archi Atudent????
Hey Lunica. Thanks for the comment. I would go for gold. You only know for certain once you've tried it. Until then, you'll never know if it's the "right choice". Even if you spend a year at that university and find it's not to your liking, that's time well spent. All the best :)

I thought architecture was different. Don't get me wrong, the design process seems great but it takes too much time and I just won't work well with a team. I wish I could find a job that was like architecture but I really could do anything. Overall I don't think it's for me and that's okay, I have time.
I wanted to ask that do you recommend going in to architecture even though I have no creative abilities but I do enjoy almost all other things architecture has to offer.
Yes, I think creative skills can and will be learnt over the course of your degree. If you have a passion for it, you'll find your capabilities will come as a result.

I really want to study architecture because I wanted to be an architect when I was a child, most of my dreams have been about exploring houses since I was a child (they all had very interesting architectures) and I loved (still do) walking in towns and cities just to admire different houses. However, I hear a lot that architecture requires the most work (and that students rarely sleep)… I’m not the type of person who is willing to work all night, I love sleeping too much 😅 Architecture still seems so interesting but the amount of work isn’t for me. I’m also very bad at presentations and communicating with people, and I struggle with being creative (I can’t make something new or interesting, though sometimes I am good at problem-solving). The good thing is that I’m good at both math and art. Should I still try one year in architecture school? Or are there any other options for what I’m interested in?

I've always been a straight A student and i always loved studying, but now in my junior year i got tired. I don't like the fact that i only know books, I want to be a bit more practical. I thought about studying law, but now I really want a more creative and flexible job. I love History of Art and painting. That's my favorite subject in school, but I could never study it because I do need a job that'll bring me some money... I always loved old buildings and decorating my room. I would spend hours building Barbie's houses or planing my future room. Should i study architecture?
Tomorrow I’ll start architecture. I like to draw ✍🏻, design pictures in computer . But I’m not good in math . What advice you would give me ?

Hi James, that's exciting! My advice is to be like a sponge. Pretend you know nothing and try and soak up as much information as you can. Ask lots of questions, show up to every class (on time or earlier), be attentive and most of all have fun!
I don’t have a creative mind but im very good at drawing and I badly want to be creative and be a problem solverrrr, it’s hard to think outside the box, but I’m always trying tho😅
