You’re basically a ADHD role model. You use hyper focus to your advantage and let yourself move around to whatever productive thing you’re able to mentally accomplish in that moment. The path may be a little less linear, but you get it done!

Wow,a role model for adhd, wtf,why would you want a role model for that???you can diagnose people through a screen,what higher education facility did you get certified at, you get all that from a couple minutes of video. Do you know that 30yrs ago there was no such thing as adhd,then some lazy smart ass dr. made up this attention deficit disorder,now everyone has it,especially the children of lazy or too busy shouldn't of had kids parents!!Watch out it's really contagious. There's no cure,just lots drugs,that are called, get this,mood elevators,big pharma gives incentives for every script. It's quite the racket. 45yrs ago it was called energetic and inquisitive,sensitive etc. We are human we have many emotions,instead of dealing with it,they give you drugs to scramble your brain,so you need more drugs to fix that. Get outside,get some air. Don't do drugs.Aim higher for role models.
@@annalake4376 a role model for others who have adhd as well. Get out of here with this whole adhd doesn't exist. Yes many are wrongly diagnosed, but functionally people who actually present with adhd are hardwired a little different and sometimes that can present challenges.

I'm 48 years old and I was making a birthday cake for my mother, something I haven't done in what feels like centuries. Naturally, I came up with the most elaborate cake I could, spent 12 hours on it and then realized I screwed up the layers and I'd ruined the cake. For a tiny moment I was about to give up and just buy one. The first thing that came into my mind was Hannah's double wrap job that she had to rip apart and start over. I thought to myself, if she could do that, and I could do that at her age, I can do this now. It's amazing when a woman half your age becomes an inspiration.
It may have seemed like just a cake to an outsider, but my mother and I were estranged for a long, long time. We've only recently reconnected and are repairing our relationship and honestly it's the best we've ever been. So this cake was an important cake. Hannah if you're out there, you may not realize this but what you do matters. Thank you for helping me realize what I do matters, too.
And in case anyone's interested, I made a Japanese Christmas cake (Japanese sponge strawberry shortcake as a layer cake) with a layer of from-scratch strawberry jam, and key lime mirror glaze. And it was PERFECT. Most importantly, Mom loved it. She cried...so then I played her the Birthday Bitch song. 😆 Then, she danced. ❤🩹

i just started to demolish my bathroom rather than hire somone in to do it; remove shower, walls, tiles, old cupboard etc without a second thought because of Hannah. She , you put your hand to all those tasks and you achieved them,you made it seem doable so i did it. I feel great to be making the changes myself that i want! I think we have the same space heater! Ours said to clear three feet of space on all sides, and to keep it away from furniture and bedding. These things are rigorously safety tested, so it's probably fine, but I'd feel bad if I didn't say anything.

Hey, as inspiring as Hannah is don't forget there's lots of procrastination behind the productivity for her as well!! It might seem like she's always productive bc that's most of what you see in the video, but as she regularly mentions herself plenty of her days are like 90% doing nothing too. Idk I guess what I'm trying to say is don't be too hard on yourself and don't compare yourself to an unrealistic standard! If all you could do is getting out of bed in a day, that's one thing you got done today and I'm proud of you. :) Living in the woods sounds super cool and I hope you will feel more energetic and more comfortable with yourself soon, all the love to you ❤️

For me it's just that I've done a lot on my own so I'm used to it and it feels weird to have to rely on other people and match their pace

Yea I mean I don't know her personally so I can't really assume anything like that. She seems like a healthy person, just maybe has a lot of energy or like she mentioned in the video - ADHD. That's probably how she stays so slim, always on the move! It very well may have nothing to do with trauma, and I do feel that the whole trauma assuming thing has gotten a little out of hand recently. So I'd say it's safer to assume she just has a lot of energy or has trouble sitting still. I know people like that who are always thinking about what they can do next around their property.

I'd put trim in all the corners. Ceiling to floor. I'm sure you know that. Matching the ceiling, walls, and window frame, then it's time for furniture, pictures, and plants. Room looks fantastic, Hannah!
She'll probably get back and do that. She often dresses a room when the basics are done and then later on does the finishes after she's enjoyed a sense of accomplishment.

First of all wow! It looks so good in there!! And I just want to say, I really love your attitude of just going with whatever you want to work on first, following wherever your energy leads you, and not getting discouraged by the small things. I was thinking about that recently, how in one of your videos you were going to get started working in the room and you mentioned that it was late in the day. Earlier this week, I was getting a late start and felt crappy about it until I thought, "if Hannah can start late in the day doing solo construction work and still make a beautiful little room, why can't you do your own tasks starting right now? (which are much easier and also involve no fiberglass protective gear whatsoever!)" And you know what, that was very effective and made me feel very motivated! So basically, thanks for being an inspiration!

underlay paper help in floor squeaking and if you shellac the underside it helps in the floor boards from warping in moist climates.

Hey! I'm sure you know more about building then I do just by nature of experience, but I noticed how tight some of the floor boards were going in and wondered if you left room for the wood to expand and contract? I don't super know much about it myself but all the building channels I watch stress about the need for gaps in real wood flooring do the wood has places to go when it naturally expands. So I just thought I'd mention it incase you didn't know so you can look into it :D the room looks amazing by the way!
