That food looks DELICIOUS!!!! My co-workers son moved to Japan with his family, last winter, I told her I have learned a lot about Japan from your videos, I honestly knew nothing before I started following you guys! I told her (among other things) all about the school-bags, wich I found very interesting when you made that video! Thankyou for spreading knowledge about Japan to us followers!
I look forward to Fridays when your videos appear. This one made me smile from start to finish. Your happy family really makes me happy throughout the day. Thanks.
I very much agree with your idea. I am in favor of taking a few days off from school to spend time with my family. I love watching video blogs where I spend a relaxing time with your family, friends and your relatives in the villa in Lake Yamanaka.☺️ I've seen your video blog before of Anna and Becca enjoying a swing in a tree near their villa when they were kindergarten students. And a few years later, I saw Sarah become a kindergarten student and enjoy swinging on your video blog💕🎶☺️ And this year, Joshua finally enjoyed the swing🎶☺️ The meaning of Thanksgiving, which was taught using children's plays, was also very easy to understand. thank you🎶🙏
Hi everyone, what a great Thanks giving meal that is. That Turkey looked amazing, very well done i love the mash potato and sweet corn. Pretty soon you will be doing another Turkey:} That tree looks great, sadly i will be celebrating Christmas without my Mum and Dad. That scenery looked beautiful and it was great to see Mount Fuji in the blue sky. Thanks for sharing, have a great celebration from Carl.
I've been to Cape Cod on Thanks Giving Day to trace America's history. Your kids' play reminded me of the preservation area. It was a extremely cold day maybe like the one that Puritans arrived. Btw, you should've prepared cassette gas range to eat Nabe. You were taught the recipe from a Japanese friend, right?
@@LIJ Surely it was a very cold experience with snow. The cape itself was lonely land for me but would've looked gifted land for pilgrim fathers. What impressed me the most is those who in the preservation area were reproducing that era's way of living like Amish with speaking ancient English.

As a non-american,I still don't understand why Thanksgiving is such a popular and big holiday but it looks like a lot of fun. In Belgium the biggest holidays are Christmas and Easter which are both religious. I wish we had a big non-religious holiday so every fate could celebrate together. We do have the Black Friday capitalism thought 🤣
You could start celebrating Thanksgiving anyway, invite your friends and family over and everyone have a great meal and say what you're thankful for! That's a great reason to celebrate, no matter what one's religion is. Who knows - maybe you'll start a new trend in Belgium. Oh! And I would incorporate the amazing chocolates of Belgium into the celebration :)

Sweet family and friends! Food looked so yummy. How fantastic to see Mt Fuji right there.
It's so cool to be so close to Mt Fuji for sure.
Are there any typical American Thanksgiving ingredients that are hard to find in Japan?
Turkeys! And cranberries, but we don't do cranberry sauce.
Thank you for sharing a good video. (❁´◡`❁)
Delicious turkey !
What is the seasoning ?
I season just with garlic and salt (I put it under the skin between the skin and the meat). Then I put olive oil over the skin to help it brown.
