There is nothing wrong with the way Catherine dresses! There are times when I really don't like the comments you make about her. I just finished reading a book about her and the Queen and they get along just fine. The Queen doesn't like to wear wedge shoes herself but there is nothing wrong with Catherine wearing them.

The wedge heels are perfect for walking on grass and other uneven surfaces. I have no idea why some media says The Queen wouldn't like Catherine wearing them.

Princess Diana had a problem with the wind blowing her skirts up, too. So her tailors were instructed to sew weights into the hems.
idk why they don't always do this to every skirt, as a protocol. i know some skirts are meant to be light and airy, but i hope they can get some safety pants or bike shorts on. isn't this common sense that even non-royals do?
@@peachbooks3199 I took an old ripped pair of leggings and cut them into shorts to wear under skirts that tend to do that. Idk why more of us don't. I hadn't thought of the weighted hems but now that I know I'm going to do it.

@@nadiac2103 technically, it’s future queen consort, but I get what u mean. As far as I’m concerned, many parts of the dress-code is based on tradition. Maybe it used to have a specific purpose once upon a time but I’m not sure if ALL still applies now. I don’t really care that much especially since I’m not even from the UK, all I know is that she looks great and there’s no harm in complementing someone

Well, she is Kate Middleton who happens to have the title you mentioned.
Actually, fyi, the proper title is Catherine, Princess of Wales OR Princess William of Wales. It is actually improper to call her Princess Catherine as she isn't a Princess (she isn't an heir to the throne like her daughter who actually is a Princess and should be referred to as Princess Charlotte as she is an heir to the throne). Having said that, people will continue to improperly refer to her as Princess Catherine/Kate, some just don't know any better or are just too lazy to write out the full title or feel some type of way if they just say Catherine as in "Prince William and Catherine" which would be completely acceptable when talking about them. They did the same with Princess Diana, she wasn't born a Princess as an heir to the throne either, she was married to a prince (an heir to the throne), and one of his many titles was the Prince of Wales, making her Diana, Princess of Wales.
You can choose to believe God decided this family were divinely anointed as your rulers... and I can believe that Kate met some posh boy at college and got married.
What we call them is a matter of choice.

@@claudettelawrence2812 yeah but people aren't criticising meghan for her dress sense in particular, they're upset with what she's said and done in relation to the other Royals. She kinda did this to herself. She slated England, royal protocols that Princess Katherine AND Princess Diana had to get used to, said things about individual members of the family, alluded to other incidents of "bullying" (being told 'no' isn't bullying in my mind), and helped Harry turn away from his family and the people who loved him. Because, at one point in time, Harry alone, and then Harry and Meghan were more popular than Prince William and Princess Katherine. But it wasn't enough for Meghan. She wanted to do things her way, wear what she wanted, go to star studded glittering events, get all the perks of being a Royal without doing the mundane everyday work and be treated like a Queen. But there is, or was, only 1 Queen.
So you can't really blame the Royal Family and, we, the British public for not being thrilled to see either of them.
A bed was made, and now, sadly, it needs to laid in. They made themselves public enemy number 1 with the ecowarrior double standards and cruel treatment of our Royal Family, especially about the Queen and Princess Katherine, seeing as she was pregnant when it kicked off with her and Meghan over a bridesmaid dress. So, in the end, they kinda did all this to themselves.

I love what she wears! Including that piece she modeled when she was very young and single does not count. I think it a low blow to include that outfit here! Since growing up and maturing, she has great great fashion sense. Going against protocol as long as it's tasteful is all good.
I don't believe Kate would ever intentionally disrespect/disregard tge Queens wishes, unlike Megan who does it on purpose.
