To be honest, my sister and I are 13.5 years apart and we are best friends. Now 29 and 42 years old. Growing up we slept in the same bed every night despite having separate bedrooms 😂 Another thing I noticed was my relationship with my sister was closer than any of my friends relationships to their siblings despite my sister and I having the biggest age gap between us.
I wouldn't recimmend marrying someone I haven't lived with. You discover so much about a person when you live with them. You discover if they are someone you can live with for the rest of your life. I know there are couples who didn't live together before they got married and made it work, but in general, I think it's a no-brainer for me that you should live together for at least 2 years before you get married. Which is what my husband and I did.
As Someone who has a brother that’s 11 months older than me and one that’s 11 years older than me I can say there’s a huge difference in the way I Interact with each.
I have a moderate age gap (about 5-8 years) with my older brother. We are about 6.5 years apart. Depending on the situation, we act like we were a lot closer in age as well act like we had a large age gap.
