- I am continuing my tours of the Wildwood Boardwalk. The last time we did this we stopped at 22nd and the boardwalk. Now we start at 26th and make our way to 22nd.

My family and I go to WildWood, NJ every year, in the last week of August, and we have a blast,
The tram “warning call” has become a very well known phrase, “Watch The Tram-Car Please, Watch The Tram-Car Please”
We love the place actually, No crazy crowds, very nice people, a lot of different shops, and a place where people can come, relax and enjoy.
Definitely going again this August as well!

ikr!ive been going to Wildwood ever since i was in my moms belly!i love it there so much its just like paridise!
I was holding out hope to get down there at least for a day trip, This is the first time in years I wont be spending any time in WW at all, Its breaking my heart. Hoping for a better time next year. Miss the warm sea air, the shore birds laughing, the Sams pizza, the twilight setting the mood for the lights on the boards to come on, the sights the sounds of the midway, the long tired drive home with the smiles, sunburn and a wawa frozen coffee to keep me awake on the GSP. I missed it all this year. Thanks for the video, cant wait to watch it.
Edit, Joey, thanks a million glad I got to at least see what I'm missing out on. I think seeing the seagulls in the lights over the roller coaster is one if my favorite things ever, I saw it a few years ago and it takes awhile to realise what is going on....thanks again for the video
A video of the Herford Inlet Lighthouse at night would be great to see some time. Its kind of cool to see the beam of light swooping by when its dark and foggy, thats usually the last thing I try to see before I leave to head home.
Love the content of this channel, it helps alot when your stuck in PA wishing you could be in your favorite vacation spot.

I went there this passing Summer, it was so nostalgic and I loved it. I always had a thing for 50's themed things because they always looked way better than anything modern day buildings had.
The roller coaster that I like is the grate white and the run away tram I was there

@@beannamated Things like the diners, the way they advertise things, the stuff they play on the speakers as you're walking the boardwalk, the music they play at the piers, stuff like that.

We were amazed how crowded the boards were and how few were wearing masks when we went the second week of July! People kept walking by with no masks and not staying 6 feet away. Looks better this night in your video. We still had a great time and made the best of it-stuck with the beach instead of the boards and got Macks pizza delivered! We love wildwood and can’t wait to go back again!

We just got back yesterday after a week. We were also shocked at how crowded it was. Even on the weekdays it was packed.
All Day Jay I agree. We planned to go during the week days but it was so hard to stay socially distant because of how many people were on the boards. The one time we never tried was the afternoon, after hikes are no longer allowed on and before the evening crowd. Who knows, maybe that would’ve been a more ideal time. Regardless we did delivery for food and had a blast on the beach! So much room to spread out with Wildwoods big beaches!
@@Thecrunchycatholicfamily yea that's true. I just hate spending 200 plus a nite to jus order in and go to beach. We went dolphin watching the last day and played some arcades. Maybe last 2 weeks of August won't be as bad
All Day Jay I understand! We usually go two times in the summer but are unsure if we should go back this year given how much we didn’t like the crowds. Hopefully August will be better..
I had a great time in Wildwood last year with the kids. I love the Social distancing at night. I'm always down for the arcade. I'm planning to go down there in August. Hopefully there won't be high numbers of Covid 19 cases in August. Stay safe and please stay 💪.

My favorite coaster is the Great Nor'easter. Love your videos. I went down in June 2020 and had a great time. Had to leave early cause I got called back to work. Love Wildwood.

Wow, the King's Inn has changed to the Quality Inn. Before my family moved to Wildwood, that was the hotel that we stayed in (circa 1972). I really wish those boardwalk merchants the best. They depend on those summer vacationers for their living.
Funny thing it has changed twice since the Kings Inn.
I worked for the original owners, when it was a nice clean, well maintained establishment.

@@28mark When I was a child, my Uncle would take me to Wildwood for three days during the summer, and we would stay there. Back then, they had a coffee pot (not a coffee maker) attached to the wall which, at that time, was state of the art technology. We used to watch the Aqua Circus at night from the third tier, sitting in our deck chairs. I also used to love sitting out on that front sundeck at night until Sportland Pier closed down around 1am. Back then, that was a lot of freedom for a ten year-old.

Interesting tram protocol. I inquired and received the following. Having a summer place there, my family and I do a lot of boardwalking. I noticed that the tram always stops at Morey's pier for one minute. It was an arrangement made years ago to promote the amusements of the pier.
hmmm. Interesting. I figured they did it for them to get more people on the tram.
My grandma and grandpa have a beach house down there and we stay there all year and all summer long last year 2020 I stay down there for 1 month I stay down there for at least 2 months it's the best
Our trip to Wildwood.....cancelled! Your governor added 10 more states to the quarantine list today. Ours was one of them. We were packing to leave Saturday! Can't remember the last year I didn't spend a summer week in Wildwood. It sucks, really sucks.
We have a governor here in NJ with a Napoleon complex.

Is there any timeframe when Sea Serpent could open I am going this Thursday and will great White be open
I’m going August 1st and 2nd. Been checking Morey’s website everyday. Hopefully, the Sea Serpent, Great White and Kang-a-Bounce will be opened before then.
No timeframe yet. They need to test the new trains and have them inspected by the state.

Always thought it was great to see the Canadian plates on the parkway and in Wildwoood since I was a kid. Sorry you can't make it to the NJ shore this year. Soon it will all be OK and you'll be down by the seaside soon enough.

It’s the whole idea of hanging underneath the track with nothing below your feet that scares me. Never rode a coaster like that before. I can’t even do the swings at Wildwood. Lol

Did a day trip on Monday and almost no stores were open. We were highly disappointed.

Honestly can't decide on my favorite coaster lol! I know my thumbnail is Great White. Go back and forth every year between that and GNE. I heard a rumor that Great White might be getting new trains next year? If so that could sway my opinion! And of course going to have to come back to experience Sea Serpent with its new train and upgrades! (However I'm assuming it will be similar to Sidewinder at Hershey.)

Hey! which one? Right now only GNE, Runaway Tram, Rollies Coaster and Wild Whizzer are open. The Great White and Serpent don't have an opening date as of yet

Wildwood is not what it used to be.I've owned a house there for 18 years.Getting very ghetto. I heard a father yesterday,coming off the beach,screaming at his two year old daughter, "

I wanted to visit this year but everything being closed and canceled its not worth it. Plus I just had a baby and don't want to fly with an infant since the airlines are back to cramming people on flights. I was disappointed Irish weekend was canceled but I'm not surprised. Too many people aren't using common sense and never stopped traveling etc

Forgive me for noticing that you pretty much stayed in the "safer" part of the boardwalk. Keep walking south and it gets it gets trashy and scary with every step. Sorry for my honesty but I would not want to be up there by myself on any night !!
I’ve never experienced anything like that on the boardwalk. I practically walk the boardwalk every single night and always feel safe

@@hebrewhammer8571 I know 15 people who died. In addition to that, my father had a health scare a couple months ago and literally could not be taken to a hospital because there was no space for him.They had to work on him in an ambulance.
But these things, real human lives and their health, aren't too important to you it seems. Anyway, have a good day, and let me know how the volunteering goes. The world certainly needs all the help it can get.
